notes: Supreme law and subordinate law. Judicial review doctrine ,Jorge Marshall Constitution law consists of basic set of principles that guide how a state and its different organs should work; judiciary, executives and legislative; Types of constitution :written(Pakistan) or unwritten(Britni) "The literal and legal language are no the same"; written means that the act or constitution is passed by the parliament and is codified. Rigid and flexible constitution :depends upon the amendments. Head of state and head of government (two designations) in any country the head of the government is more important then the head of the state because the head of the govenment forms the cabinet. in presidential system the head of the state and head of the government are same person. the vote is casted to the president. why was the president more powerful in pakistan ,rather then the primenister ,the reason is because the constitution was suspended in 1977 and reimpose in1985 with the addition of 8th amendment in 58(2)(b) form this b form meant that the president can dissolve the pm and parliament without the consent of anyone . two governments of banazir and first of nawazsharif was dissolved ; resultantly 13th amendment was passed ,structing off the (B) from 58(2)(b) ,which was placed in the constitution by 8th amendment

The quorum required during the course of a sitting of the Assembly or a Committee meeting is one-fourth of the total membership of the Assembly or the Committee, as the case may be. But for constitutional amendments 2/3rd is required
