Congratulations my dear professor. I'm also a biology professor. And, in Venezuela, I teach exactly the same subject. I have suggested my students to watch this video in order to have a broader view of the subject. I wish you many successes. My regards.

I am confused about how you're counting the carbons. From G-A, the bond from c3 to c5, where are the locations of each carbon atom? I see the CH2 on the chart, but you're saying this is the third carbon to the fifth carbon... where are the others? It's been several years since I've studied these and I can't find them.

Sarah Strait Or, are each of the "corners" on the molecules considered a carbon unless there's another letter written there to denote a different atom?

Love you lectures your diagram of the phosphorusdiestor backbone lattice you show atcg complementary lattice yet on the Blackboard you have A & G next to each other as double ring next to each other in an anti parallel complementary pair lattice. is that correct or am I misunderstanding something being conveyed to me
