Difference between Onto and One to One Functions?

A function can be both Onto and One to One. However, their base criteria differs. The criterion for being One to One function is that each element on one column has only one corresponding element on the other column. The criterion for being Onto function is that every single element must have at least some corresponding element on the other column, regardless of the number of correspondents.
