Hey Jeff! As far as I know, servicenow offers powerful applications to support any sorts of customer needs.. but i was wondering how does now platform connect the data from customer? by using the tool you introduced in this video? to sort out the data first and then import into servicenow database? that's a hugh amout of data... and also a cost to customer .. both in man and time..

Hey Kevin. The ServiceNow apps are built to work against the ServiceNow database only. So, yes, a good part of the process is to get your company's data that exists in your on-site servers loaded into the ServiceNow DB. The great thing about ServiceNow is that it all works against a single enterprise-wide database. That means, no more 'stovepipe' databases.They provide a good suite of tools, like the one I've demo'd, to assist with that data ingestion process. There are also automatic scanning type tools like Discovery and Service Mapping that will scan your environment and load CMDB-type data.
