Thank you for telling you’re story. We need to get this out here to educate the world of the dangers of these benzodiazepines. I’m still tapering from Zanax and I never imagined the hell i would go through but I am getting there. Doing it slow is the only way. No one deserves to suffer like so many of us have and are going through. We will heal. It takes time. Please keep us updated. 🙏🏻

I’m on month 5 after abusing Xanax and alcohol...my worst time was from CT to month 2. I have been feeling well between month 3-4, but I feel a setback now at month 5. I know diet is key now! Eat clean, heck go vegan if you can. Exercise keeps stress levels down. I’m finally getting into my REM sleep again, after 4 months. I heard REM sleep is a sign of the brain healing the body now. Goal is DEEP SLEEP...that’s when the brain heals the body. Diet, exercise, and sleep are the healing keys to recovering. My heart palpitations are gone at month 5, fatigues gone, dp/dr is gone, intrusive thoughts are gone, brain zaps are gone, and body aches are gone...my lingering symptoms are sever GI issues (your gut is well connected to your brain, take care of the gut), night sweats, morning dizziness/vertigo, anxiety (though not as bad as before), depression (slight), coated tongue (slight thrush/dry mouth), vivid dreams, body jolts wake me up right before falling into sleep, and weird breathing patterns about 1 day out of the week...other than all this, I feel great! And I do feel like I am getting better, most definitely actually. Compared to month 1-4, I feel so much better. You will get better, but you need to take care of yourself! Meditation videos, mindfulness, and hydration all helped as well. Before sleep, talk to your body, your brain works on your body, tell yourself to heal. It worked for me. The brain is extremely powerful. I figured this out by giving myself high/low blood pressure, induced and controlled by my own brain. My brother who is a nurse did an experiment with me, and asked me to tell myself to have HBP, and I had it. Then told myself to have LBP, and I had it. We did multiple tests like this, and I am now convinced that your brain controls every aspect of your body...I controlled my own BP with my brain. It was so awesome feeling this. You will be fine! Work on yourself. A quote that helped me realize that you will heal was said by a Dr. “You can burn a forest down in 1 day, but it will take 100 years for it to grow back...” that’s what benzos do to your entire nervous system...it destroys it, but it will recover and heal. Good luck! And God bless you all... Eat well, sleep well, heal well!

BrandonBreaks I’m feeling a lot better brother! Just weird chest/heart sensations, but I already got checked by a cardiologist and everything is normal. I’m 26, so yea I don’t think it’s anything serious with the heart, according to my cardio it could be my nervous system that’s hypersensitive. So now I’m feeling my PVC’s and other sensations. Other than that, I’m feeling great! About 80%.

@@eddiegarcia2138 how are you now?
@eddiegarcia21386 жыл бұрын
Ty green doing about 75% toward end of month 6...I believe it will most definitely take a full year to be completely healed in my personal situation. But a lot better. Bouts of fatigue, mild aching behind eyes, still get jolts here and there, and heart sensations probably about twice a week. I think when my cardiac enzymes are perfect is when I feel fine. If I sweat too much or eat too many carbs or sugars, it triggers heart palps. I’m getting over a really nasty throat infraction and chest congestion that I feel is unrelated. So I’m feeling like crap right now. But it has nothing to do with the benzos. I’ve always had really bad allergies. Hope you all are doing just fine.

I kicked h ( kicked h like 20 years ago )and that was simple compared to clonazepam. I am tapering. I took 2mgs for 5 years and I've slowly tapered to 1 1/2 mgs and I have restless leg really bad. I was prescribed it for anxiety and insomnia. Once I get through this I will never touch another benzo - nightmare. I had no idea it was gonna be like this. Thanks for the videos. I feel for anyone going through this!😓

Some people say opiates are the only meds that counter benzo withdrawals, and that would make sense, because millions of Americans were prescribed benzos and now we have an opiate epidemic. Makes perfect sense as a cause and effect. Some say small amount of lithium carbonate also help counter Benzo Hell. I have heard taking 30mg to 100mg twice a day can help. Always consult your doctor. Please let us know if you find what works or at least helps reduce the benzo withdrawals. :)

so when I get off my klonopin what do I take for sleep and panic? Wish I had a sweet husband to see me through this.....if you are married it is easier. AND I can't even drive now......scares me and last year before I got on klonopin I could drive.
@BrandonBreaksRecords4 жыл бұрын
Don’t give up. Things will get better. It is a slow process and for me it has become the great challenge of my life. The benzos and protracted withdrawal did wound me and I’ll be healing from it from here on out. That being said, I have found some peace. As for what to do about sleep and panic after quitting klonopin, that’s a deep tunnel to go down. But, once you’re feeling well enough to do so, you may want to try to walk and mild exercise during days to make sleeping easier since the body will be more tired. Every little bit helps and adds up.
