Doing the Cloverleaf next week hope the weather holds out.

Nice! Enjoy it. Save the best weather days for the North and West days if you can, those are sublime and even more so in good weather!

Hi Sam, That looks to be a Great Adventure, It makes my trip with Mrs F on pillion next week to N Wales look a bit feeble. All the best & Enjoy your Trip.

Nice one Sam, me and a mate did the NC500 in May 2019.....excellent trip and arguably the best we've ever done together from all our European trips. We were lucky in that it wasn't the busy tourist season so hardly any traffic but I have heard that now the NC500 is very busy. The Cloverleaf is now on our list!.

It is such a good trip isn't it! That West Coast has got to be some of the best biking I've ever done! You chose the right month to do it! May seems to be the perfect time if you're lucky with the weather. Very few midges, and the tourists are low too! Thanks for watching

Nice one Sam, I'm looking forward to the next installments. The NC 500 will be chocka, glad I did most of it several times before it was a thing, and this looks like a great alternative. Impressive tank range, GS territory from a Tracer, excellent! Also, I noticed your top shelf at home 👍 from a fellow single malt buff 😀

Agreed! The next episodes are taking a HOURS to edit haha. 3 cameras and 4+hours of footage per day... my actual job may or may not be paying for me to be editing without knowing haha! Haha! There are a few more added since getting home. Annoyingly I tend to gravitate towards the expensive ones! Thanks for watching as always mate!

@@SamVBikes you're welcome, it's a big job doing all that editing, I wouldn't know where to start 😂 The thing with single malt is the older they are, the better they taste. My tastes gravitate to more expensive bottles too, plus the special editions can be a good investment, as long as they don't get opened, which is the hard part 😂

Haha! Hours of my life drifting away. Lucky I still enjoy it! Haha I agree! Was chatting to one of the guys in Scotland who was in our hotel. He has a few expensive ones unopened.. 18 year scotch that he bought 10+ years ago. No idea how he didn't open them!

@@SamVBikes I have 1979 and 1974 glenmorangie bottles among others. Bought in the 1990's and stashed away. I can't afford to drink them now 😂

Hi Sam. Thanks for the heads up on this one. Four of us were booked in for a week in Callander last June but had to cancel. We are now going to Wales this year but planning Scotland again for next year if all goes well. I have done 50 miles on my reserve and it was still going. I also have the same cruise control clamp as you and put my feet up on the crash bungs on the motorway. Looking forward to the rest of the trip. Take care. Mike. Ps I live 14 miles from Nathan the postman so Scotland is a fair trip just to get there.

Hey! Wales is still stunning! You will love it. Definitely recommend this trip. The South and East aren't amazing, more for the tourist attractions but the West coast never fails to amaze me! That's a fair trip! Good effort to you when you do it! Thanks for watching

Definitely! It's a lot quieter than the standard NC500 so avoids a lot of the motorhomes. Probably taken up but the Fir Tree B&B was a delight to stay in
