I habe the same thought almost every morning. Especially on the werkends. It’s easier for me to get up, when I hear peoples voices. When there is active life around it’s easier to get up. But when there is nothing, just silence, then why or what would you need to get up for? And that’s where you should remknd yourself to get up for yourself again.

I had a somewhat related experience to this when my family went on holiday leaving me in alone in my rather large home for a week, and I must say a lot of the emotional experience you express here are spot on with how I felt too. However you express those emotions far more eloquently than I can muster. We certainly learn how to appreciate having people remain close and present in our lives.

I feel seen watching your TVlogs. Like catching up with an old friend.. yet we've never met. never spoken. It's funny how we can feel so connected to another human through seeing edited snippets of their life, narrated by carefully written dialogues. It shows how much we look to find connection and place, through people and space. We all want to fit in, even if not as another piece of the puzzle, but that box of extra pieces that can't seem to fit into place. As “extra pieces” of the puzzle sometimes we might not fit perfectly into one specific spot, but finding pieces that resonate with us can make us feel part of a larger, more understanding whole.
