EDIT: Oh yeah, I totally saw it. I called it because when his hand moved to the edge of the table, I knew he had dropped the real bill!

Brushwood! I realize you have the Stan Lee philosophy with Scam School as he did with comics. "Every comic book should be written like it is someone's first comic book, and every episode of Scam School could be someone's first episode." But that doesn't mean there are extra things you can't teach. "How to spot a Mark" is an important point thing you could teach. "How to string together a routine" is also important. Just showing how an opener moves to a tweener and closer very quickly. I've bought all your books including the one on fire eating. So I get most of this stuff. Just want you to be able to keep your audience up so you can do what keeps you happy.

This is actually a variant called Fender Bender, but we have Saxaboogie as well. We've used both on a little more than 10 episodes over the years! I really only use them to see how many people recognize it from spongebob.

A good way to get people to look away from the bill is to yell at one of the audience members "Who's on the back of the dollar bill!?". You've just challenged them and everyone's looking at them to see what they'll say. When they say 'Washington' reiterate "the back of the bill" for a little joke. If it fails just suspiciously say you were trying to test their knowledge of dollar bills.

I first thought this was a thing specially for dollars. just like that trick you showed that can get someone's phone number using math only works for American numbers. But this one can actually be done with lots of things, i like it! It's so simple, yet so good!

Magic is not necessarily about fooling people. Sure you do lie here and there, but you are an entertainer, you want to make them experience something that otherwise they could probably never experience. Your goal is to amaze, not to fool. (Except if you want to scam them for free beer or money) If you can't get to this frame of mind then maybe just do really flashy stuff that requires slight of hand or a clever gimmick. Two great and relatively easy(I don't know, been doing them for years) trick to amaze people with: 'Invisible palming' and 'Card Through Hand' from Eoghan Bourke Magic

This is also one of my go to tricks. My variant, that works for me, is I say I can read a poker face. That I am so good that I can tell what the hand of poker is on the bill. Then tell them the poker hand on the bill. So if the serial number was 57444425 I would say "I'm not betting against this one you have 4 of a kind. But it's a low 4 of a kind, like the number 4." I tried a variant where I would pull a random bill and said whether I would win or lose and say what my hand was and then what their hand was. But that seemed to gimicie.
