Very important, note that he gives greater details on CONDITIONS at the end of the vid. An awesome way to repurpose your used worm baits.

I used to fish this same rig using a 3/8 oz Arky Jig (black living rubber skirt) and a 6 inch black Bill Norman Snatrix. I would fish it in clear water strip pits in November and December and caught quite a few five and six pound bass on it.

I've never tried that set up but used to take a 4in yum dinger and wacky rig it on ball head finesse jigs and it was a killer on the open water suspending bass with the slower fall and the wiggle/shimmy it gave the the jigs

I used to work at Basspro shops and my older boat manager and I went fishing one evening last summer and he used a worm/jig setup and I talked so much trash until he busted an 8.6 and I was completely sold!

Randy you'd be proud of me this morning. I got a 21" 5 pounder today on your walking bait retrieve. Then I pulled a huge cast net I spied out of the water and threw it away with some other garbage I found. Great morning!! Hope you're having a great one too.

Hey Mr g nice job on that five pounder good for you bro. I lost two nice bass last year I wasn't even on my buddy's boat. I was fishing on the fishing docks at Stockton lake in Missouri. One was easily 4/12 plus he jumped completely out of the water and that was on a red shad colored ned rig the next cast another 4 pounder jumped out of the water. What I couldn't figure out is how they got off because that's a small hook and small hooks are alot harder for them to throw anyway there's always more bass to catch Mr G God bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike.

Man I’ve been dealing with a lot of trash being left behind as well, one pond I went to I saw a bird with lime wrapped around its leg and a bobber hanging behind it…I tried to get it free but it flew off, same pond also had a goose with a bad leg from fishing line…such an easy gesture to pick up your line and trash , but so many don’t do it.

Hey Randy. I had a lot of success back in the 80’s fishing a jig and curly tail worm in the reeds of a dirty water lake in 3 ft of water. The curly tail hangs on the reeds a lot so I would pitch through narrow channels in the reeds and the bass would come out of the reeds to kill it. Sometimes the 6” wide channel is only 3 feet long but that’s all a bass needs to take the bait. Don’t know why I stopped doing that.

Randy, I’m Mexico folks fish a 6 or 7 inch Senko on the back of a jig. I was testing that out on my primarily spotted bass lake and was surprised that they would actually buy that crazy thing. What do you think of this setup?

Can't say I ever stopped throw'n it. It's another reason that I save used bait in an empty bag w/some scent. Lizards, worms and such. They'll all get used at some point. Two of the three "R's". On my spinner baits I might use the front half of a worm rig backwards to give'm something different.

I bet this would work incredibly well here right now and the next two months. I fish the mobile delta and the water is always at least stained, and the water temp here was 91 two days ago. I had to go way up a creek to find water that was around 85-86. I was catching them on a Bama Bug colored jig with a sweet beaver trailer, I might try it with an ole monster tail this weekend.

Hey Randy… Not sure if you follow the PGA tour and golf but I see parallels of what that LIV tour is doing and damaging the whole pro golf circuit kind of like FLW did to BASS… Maybe if you’re tuned into that you could share a video of the similarities And your opinion… they could look at what happened to professional bass fishing that it wasn’t just all about the money it was about prestige of having one tour and knowing who the real champion was
