So even if I improved a lot on the volleys, there is 2 volleys that I still need to work, and I dont see it treated here (nothing wrong with that, love the video). First is the high backhand volley. I know its a hard shot, but I would love to know how to improve it. I can make then, but I have a really hard time hitting it hard (even if its a easy one). The second is: Whats the best way to react to body shots. And by body shots I mean one that is really centralized towards my chest. This is when I do this wrong thing of turning. Thank you!

I had similar issue on the high backhand volley, and also on the high forehand one as well. My experience has been that once I started hitting those volleys extremely late (almost parallel to the body, sort of last option before the cardinal sin of letting ball past your body) ensuring the contact is at the sweet spot, they began to fall much better and under control. In my experience, if you play high volleys well in front, then the chances of putting them to the net is extremely high (because of restricted forward movement of racquet). Could you try this and let me know if it works for you? I'm just a recreational player and please do not take this as if its from a coach. Definitely coaches would be able to guide you better but I was hoping to validate my experience from someone else. Cheers and enjoy your tennis

Great lesson Nik. I'm still pretty new to tennis (less than a year, though over 70 yoa), and virtually all of my shots are flat (meaning they have very little, if any, spin). Do your volleys typically have spin on them, or do you hit most volleys flat? Is one more difficult than the other, and is one preferable?

Depends on the circumstance, I’ll cover that topic down the road

Your volley contact point should be in front of you, as much as possible, no matter where the ball is. By "in front" of you I mean, reach out with your hands straight and put them together (you form a triangle) this is the contact "in front" of you. It can be anywhere on the Y (vertical axis). So to hit the ball you should always turn your shoulders toward that contact point. Your hands are separating only a little bit and should be kept within your should width. If you separate your hands before the volley you should be reaching for a very wide ball or for a very high-speed one, where you don't have enough time to turn.
