There's a reason why you don't see such large guns these days. They're not very mobile. Requires time to assemble. The effective fireing range is accomplished now using Rockets and missiles .

Nicely explained. Could be better if you'd add some specs. Just to add to it, MBT's have best armour protection but smaller calibre guns(usually 105-120mm guns) and uses Continuous tracks. On the other hand self propelled howitzers have less armour and have bigger calibre guns(155mm) and can be tracked or wheeled as well.

bofors uses in Kargil is self propelled.K9 is tracked howitzer.Bofors has a small engine which helps to move upto 6km/hr.

Depends actually and is highly unlikely. Anti tank missile is meant for destroying MBT on the frontline. MBT is a more high value target on the Battlefront. Howitzers are mainly deployment at a distance(10-40km) from the actual frontline to provide support fire. So to use an anti tank missile the enemy should either use an air based platform to get near these howitzers or a man portable ATM in which case they should get very close. So yeah! Howitzers don't stand a chance against an Anti tank missile but chances are very less them being used against howitzers. 😅

I don't think so. We saw in Armenia azarbaijan war. Armenia just bowed to Israeli and Turkish drones used by azarbaijan forces . Chines has some pretty good drone that can match US one. And we don't have any answer to chines drone. Traditional sam like s 300 ware failed completely. While we are buying s400 cost 5.5 billion. Keep in mind that s 400 haven't even used in combat. I think India should invest heavily in R&D in drone technology. Jai hind...!

M777 is not self transportable dis is like a tank or chain machine. But too heavy can't go in ladaka area. Dis is use in some part of kargil nd mainly useable in jaisalmer... Or punjab asal uttar area .. It can gv artillery support n it self portable... Old Saab boffors which was build with steel is heavy n can't lift like M777 which is titatanuim... No aircraft is designed to lift 15 k above sea level wer helicopter surface ceiling is limited to 16 k max with loaded capacity it can't... Take dat much load... So M777 is ultra light n it's usefull to infentry in mountain war dis is use able in desert war or plain land....
