I am SO late to this reaction but here goes. The dry well or the bone eater's well was where mistress centipede came from. If you go back to just before Kagome went down that well, you'll see seals covering that thing from head to toe. It's because that well was a place where, in feudal times, they dumped demon carcasses into it. Mistress Centipede was down there and this was Kagome's first time being so close to it I'm guessing and she came alive. When the Shikon Jewel was removed again, I guess she lost all of her power and died all over again. I also think the well was trying to get Kagome here buuuuuut can't speak any more on that without spoilers except....don't look up the Kagome song. I can't even say her name anymore x,x I used to love singing it but then I looked up the lore around it and.....yeesh. Nevermind.

0:32 in no way would I count inuyasha as being a long show. It has 100 or 200 episodes. For an American show, that may be a lot but when it comes to anime, it’s not. I’ve watched all of Naruto and Naruto shippuden and some of boruto anime and they are technically the same show and together they are more than 750 episodes long and they are still not over

I watched Pokemon, DBZ, and YuGiOh as a kid but I didn't know what 'anime' was until InuYasha. Thank you for reacting to one of my favorite series! There's so much filler, tho. I bet someone has made a list cutting out the unimportant episodes, that might be something to consider after the first season.
