I'm trying to be as impartial as I can be but I genuinely find this to be a perfect album closer, especially after hearing the band speak on the song, its meaning and why they structured it the way they did. I'm pretty harsh with ratings but call me a normy if you want, this song (in the context of the album) is 10/10. Stand alone, I cant really go much lower than a 9/10.

All I see is praise with regard to these guys, yet their Spotify numbers continue to drop somehow- they are still hovering up and down between 200k and 300k and I can’t understand how they aren’t at least putting up ERRA numbers at least. Everybody’s reacting to them as well, just don’t get it. They deserve more

To be fair, ERRA is an extra album and 2 EP's ahead of IA. They've released more music so that'll help Spotify numbers. Plus ERRA has had some very large break out songs like Snowblood, Gungrave and Skyline. While IA's largest song was Cloud Cascade which has less listens then the 3 songs mentioned above as well has many others also. IA is ramping up drastically though as 8 out of their top 10 songs are from this years album which is impressive.

@@DMunz1 so bad omens released TDOPM- went from 1.6M to 4M in less than a year Currents released The death we seek around the same time as IA released Heavener, went from 780k to 1.1 million since the release Polaris has special circumstances around their newest album but I’ve watched them go from 800k to 1.5 million since the release of Nightmare Meanwhile Invent animate has toured with Bad omens this year and release what everyone is saying is “album of the year” yet they’re numbers have stayed the same. And sure yeah their newest songs are trending to surpass cloud cascade but with all this exposure I’m not understanding how their numbers are not increasing more. 270k? That’s about the same as our mirage (great band btw) but I feel like no one knows them and they certainly haven’t received the reaction attention of invent animate. It just makes no sense.

@@shades1159 I understand your thought process for sure. Maybe it's something outside of our control and nothing related to their music. Could be marketing and social media exposure etc. for example that would lead other bands to succeed at a faster rate. Hard to say but they will likely double their listeners in the next two years I'd imagine
