thanks for the video! nice to see some of my boys up there!, Albinos are super underrated imo, I am working on a 6ft all albino tank with as many different species as I can get, Im at 13 albinos from malawi, and even have albino Kyoga flameback, which are super impressive with their reds! will definately post it up!, black theme with bright fish!

The Albino Geophagus Heckelii at 3:26 are gorgeous. Almost bought some at my LFS this past weekend. Some of my favorite discus I kept were the albino strains, especially my albino red spotted green. 🤤 I did notice however, the eyesight of the albino discus was inferior to the others, and thus had a much more difficult time feeding. Nonetheless, beautiful fish. 👍

Unreal fish. Do you get a lot of blind ones as you normally get alot of sight problems in other albino animals

Cae, I am not sure, I have had trouble in the past.
@sydus815996 жыл бұрын
Inherently their eye site isn't as good, I find some get worse as they age, I've had a couple monster albino comps completely lose eye sight, but for the most part they can see ok, they are a bit weaker being recessive overall so keep that in mind when stocking

I understand they cross breed to make colorful fishes. I have looked an live footage of cichlid's in the lakes of Africa and there so many colorful species its crazy. Yet we choose to cross breed. I am okay with a few but its out of control. Not a fan of over creating new breeds, bettas and guppies are another species that's out of control.
