I Completely Agree!. I'm 54 and just realized how all this aching back taking jobs I don't have interest in or jobs that have no appreciation or value of my hard work in horrible and toxic work environment, all just to "think" I'll keep up with the joneses someday. In my 20's and 30's I did alot of traveling to Resorts and working jobs that had low rent provided through the position at the resort. What a relief of stress in the world that was, I miss it. Waking up on a day off and smelling the trees, mountian air, walking to work in the Florida keys next to an ocean, seeing that hot pink sun set into the water. It's time to get off that rusty wheel and live a life peacefully and full of adventure and prosperity in Happiness.

I’m 59, three years ago I quit my well paying corporate job, and now am a professional gardener. To my own surprise my new endeavor took off in no time and now this is what I do. The money is less, the work is so much better and so much more rewarding. For me. I don’t want to convince anyone to take this same drastic route. If it’s for you, it can be done though. At the same time it doesn’t solve ‘everything’. I’m a chronic ruminator and even though I get help in dealing with this, it’s not gone away. But I ruminate in much better circumstances, so that’s a positive! I try to live in the ‘now’ as much as possible, especially since the current ‘now’ is actually pretty good. And when I start worrying about the future, I accept it and don’t fight it. I’ll be kind to myself, treat the worrying with kindness, and let it pass. Life is now.

Some of them were close to retirement, some had already retired. I can’t imagine all the opportunities they gave up to save. To have it all evaporate so quickly. Life is walking on a tightrope. One side is that you could be gone tonight or tomorrow. The other is you could live for another 30, 40, 50+ years. You have to balance living a good life and enjoying it in the present with the prospect that you could still be alive late into your senior years. It's a hard choice for everyone because there is no perfect answer. You don't have to be cheap with your money but unless you are wealthy you also can't be reckless with your money only to end up old and broke. We all have to make our own decisions based on our circumstances.

Nobody .. nobody says this incredible message “Enjoy your life to set future” Everyone is saying waste your life pursuing stuff and don’t live and when you are way too old already then figure if you can rest and enjoy: disgraceful Thanks Tim !

The God taking care it's true, I have experience some incredible events, like being at the end of the rope with rent, and suddenly an influx of cash after submitting a formal complaint to "upstairs", like, -hey I'm helping people can I have a hand please... But sometimes it's difficult to trust, specially when negative things/change are in the horizon... And by falling in fear we make terrible moves trying to prevent or ameliorate such looming things... That's the mistake...

Tim you’re talking about people living in ALIGNMENT with what feels best for them and their lives. That’s a prayer that I have daily is that every opportunity, job, person and connection that I make is always in alignment with my highest good 💫It’s a powerful prayer to trust God to make the best decisions for our lives.

Great words and perspective tim. My grandfather worked 44 years for Bethlehem steel just to die of cancer a few years into retirement. All for what? Sure he supported his family and had a few things through life but never truly did what he wanted . I myself invest alot into 401k and I have some money in crypto and stocks that are short term. I'm all about making that money but I'm all about living life. My wife and I just got married in estes park colorado last year and did a full western trip . Love your life ! It's over fast

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! this one hit me hard!!!! I agree with everything you said in this video!! Just because one way of something works for one person does not mean it is going to work for me and it doesn't mean it is wrong! We just need to be like trees and let the universe and nature do her thing and stop worrying so much!!! I have been feeling so stressed out lately about the pressure of my job and people around telling me how to live my life and I just want everyone to be quiet and let me do me! I agree that once we start doing things that feel aligned with what our hearts want then things start flowing blissfully and aligning magically! loved this video so much and it gave me the motivation I needed to pursue what feels right for me!!! Thank you Tim!!!!!

Hi from the Philippines! Its good to hear your topics as no one talks about that kinds of stuff here. Me and my wife are childfree enjoying watching your videos, while all of our friends are busy reproducing considering minimum wage here is $11 per day. I really thank God for social media as we can watch like-minded individuals.

Tim , this was such a great conversation to listen to while cooking my dinner in my apartment in Budapest, Hungary. I left my corporate job at 56 to teach abroad to take a break and simplify my life. I’ve had an amazing experience doing something that some of my friends would be scared to do. You really have to be “okay” to be alone with yourself too! I have balance. Not sure when I will return to the US but, you really break sound barrier from all the social programming we’ve been fed. Carry On! 🤠

We don't know how much time we have to experience and enjoy the gift of life. We should do what feels right for us. We should nurture ourselves and those we love. This system will use us up and throw us away if we allow it to...and yes.. Maybe if we stop spending the majority of our time and energy making companies rich (companies who don't care about us) we can use that time and energy to make a way for us that suits us. Peace is underrated. We should prioritize it today. We may not be here to do so tomorrow 💙
