Thanks for the feedback on videos like these. I tried to be more constructive in this one and less... _sensational._ I do hope the peeps in charge of this company consider the feedback and resculpt their website and business model. Would love to revisit them again in a few months and see how things have improved.

Appreciate the constructive criticisms! Let me touch on a few topics here to hopefully answer some questions! 🤔 - We try to price our components as fairly as possible while allowing for fluctuations in the market price. PC components price change like a commodity! We want to be as reasonable as possible while giving ourselves room to breath for price fluctuation! - In the gameplay videos we try to grab videos that have similar performance to what can be expected from this system until we get gameplay recorded for every game on each system we offer. On our KZbin channel you can see we are constantly launching gameplay videos and working hard to get this fixed. Our goal is to give customers who don't have a knowledge of how parts will perform, a rough idea of what to expect . - The Product images are stock images for some of our newer systems but we are working to improve that consistently. The goal with the images is to show off the case. Totally see where you guys are coming from and we are getting that fixed. Sometimes its hard to do as much justice for the case as the manufacturers do! Again, appreciate the feedback and everyone that's on our side. We are working hard to improve everyday and look forward to continue to grow! Everyone that has bought a PC from us, much love! ♥♥

Your second paragraph. Let me stop you right there. When you have a third gen i5 chip listed for three times what it sells for on eBay, you can't chalk that up too market fluctuations. @@LyteTechnologyInc if you don't buy any of these cpus from eBay, then please stop using horrible cpus (for 2020's standard) like the 3450 and gpus like 1050 2GB. Add something like a 1650 and a Ryzen R5 1600 at least for the budget system. Then throw away the 5820K and 270$ ish x99 asus mobo; grab something like 3700x and cheapo x470 board. Let's assume you haven't gotten any of these super old cpus from eBay. In that case, I am pretty sure your registered distributor is highly over charging you. I purchased a "Nova" PC and actually received parts that were better than those advertised. Instead of a Nvidia GTX 1060 with 3GB of VRAM I got a Radeon RX 580 Gaming X from MSI with 4GB of VRAM. Unfortunately my PC came with a 500GB HDD instead of the 1TB HDD advertised and a 430 WATT PSU as opposed to the 500 WATT PSU advertised. However I contacted the company and within MINUTES I received a phone call from the CEO himself. He graciously apologized for the inconvenience and is sending me a 500GB HDD and some accessories as rectification. The reason my system came with a 430 WATT PSU is because they recently stopped buying the 500 WATT PSU as it was from a less reputable company and had a one year warranty. So they decided to go for a 430 WATT PSU from a more reputable company with a three year warranty instead. He apologized for not notifying me about the change in PSU and admitted that it was a mistake on their part. I would also like to add that after receiving my PC I added up the prices of all the components on amazon and what I got was actually worth about $300 more than I paid for. I am not saying I disagree with this video and I do think they need to update their website with accurate information.

I tried calling and emailing them and the one time they answered my email it was just “we are so sorry what can we do to make this right” and I told them I wanted the pc I ordered and PAID for. They have time to make all of these cringe worthy annoying ads but won’t return an email or call. Unactivated copy of windows 10 pro. Got a 500 gb instead of the promised 1 tb. Emailed them and told them about the storage. They apologized and sent me another 500 gb hdd. The drive was DOA as I tried different data cables and the computer wouldn't even read how big the drive was. Emailed them about it again and they sent out a 1 tb to make up for their mistakes(even though I was suppose to have a 1 tb to begin with). Got that and it works. Still missing a io shield despite having asked about it a few times and being told they would send one out. Not even going to bother with it. I'm in a discord group with about 19 other people that have all bought computers during this pandemic and almost all of them have had something wrong one way or another. Messaged one guy on Facebook about all the issues I had(which are now sorted out. Even upgraded the cpu myself cause the one I had was junk due to very low playability of games even on minimum specs) who was waiting on his own computer and he messaged the company saying he has heard of multiple people having issues with their computer they recieved and they pretty much told him they didnt know what he was talking about pretty much calling us complainers liars.

Lyte apparently didn't appreciate my knowledge. There were multiple comments deleted. Lyte, if you're reading this, good job extracting money from your customers. i wholly disagree with the "don't pay 75 bucks for a windows 10 license" you should unless you are a system builder, ALWAYS pay full retail price for a windows 10 key. a retail key gives you a bit more flexibility when it comes to licensing and upgradablity. with a grey market key, MS may decide to void you key, with an OEM key you will not be able to change anything significantly, and ONLY with a retail key will your license generally last a few upgrades and reinstalls. there are other legal reasons why you don't want to buy a grey market key but that's not always that important. these usually come up if you are a system builder or a business, as MS will want you to buy volume licensing from them and not pay a grey market for their product.

You didn't notice the "Gameplay on this PC" was random KZbin videos of the games? For instance their Intel system with a 1080 had videos of a Ryzen system playing GTA V with totally different specs. The videos have zero affiliation with the company, and the way I see it that is completely misleading and sort of feels scam like. I checked almost every gameplay video on their PC listings, hardly anything matches up. All are just random YT videos of the games. Most appear to be from a KZbinr called ZWormZ Gaming, who as far as I can tell isn't affiliated with the company. I wonder if any of these KZbinrs know their videos are being used to market PCs. It's not just a few mismatched specs on the videos lol. They are just rando gameplay vids!

They built in a Gamdias Talos M1 instead of the listed Rosewill Zircon, used an Asrock board instead of the Gigabyte, a ThermalTake powersupply instead of the EVGA listed, and the 1 TB HDD turned out to be 2x 500 GB drives. All not super big deals to me, just misleading at best especially if a customer liked the case listed and shown on the site. Second while their website states that current processing times are longer (8-12 days), the pc he ordered took over a month to be built and shipped. Finally, when the computer did arrive yesterday, the pc was dead on arrival as whoever built it did not put the cpu in properly and bent pins when putting the cooler on top of it. As of right now I am waiting to hear back on refunding since it was delivered on Friday and Lyte is not open on weekends. I also did a mostly complete write-up of what happened with some pictures on my website. vic485.xyz/2020/05/diagnosing-a-doa-pc/

Hi, as European IT shop owner I found this prices in normal space (I don't know how it's work in the US), because as IT shop we have to offer warranty and support for at least 6 month, more we simply couldn't use the Windows Key's you mention, because Microsoft make controls on company like us frequently and doesn't like pretty much this sources of key. After for the misleading pictures and bench, I'm fully agree, it's not trustworthy.

Everyone if a company bumps their prices is how business is. If they sell it at cost they will not survive. Greg knows this. If they are making $100-$200 a build that's fine. If you don't know how to build than get a pre-built. I agree most of the time with Greg in this case I don't completely agree with him. None the less the video gets a thumbs up because I believe Greg is saying you can build your own.

I have an R9 380 4GB, 128GB SSD with 320GB HDD, a free case I got from a friend, and a 550W power supply. I built the system for $200. If you add in a price for the case and a better hard drive, you will hit $250-$275 region. That "Diamond" PC is pretty overpriced. Edit: I also have an OEM Lenovo motherboard with a Windows 8 Pro key baked into the BIOS that also activates Windows 10 Pro.

Well in their defense non-branded parts might be adjusting to what stock they have available at the moment. . But in our defense they could very well make list of parts that will be used in the build to be more transparent, let's say they should wrote this e.g. for PSUs: . "We will use one of the brand and model listed below. Do note that brand and model availability are depending on stock Be Quiet System Power U9 400W Corsair VS 450W Seasonic S12-III 450W" . Somethin like that, so we knew the quality of parts they are using.

I’ve heard a lot of medium to negative stuff about LYTE from 2+ years ago. A lot seems to have changed. I purchased their Venox X prebuild with Gigabyte RTX 3080 10gb, Ryzen 7 5800x, MSI X570 Gaming +, 2x16gb Corsair Veng. , 2tb NVME m.2 SSD(free tb), 1tb HD, Deepcool 240mm RGB water cooler, 6 case fans all in a LianLi Dynamic Evo case(newest model). For a total Tax included $2.6k. Several parts were subbed/upgraded due to stock and I paid extra $120 for the LianLi and mobo from B550M. If I didn’t swap out the mobo I would’ve had it in 7 days from ordering. Their customer service is top notch just stay on top of what you want/expect. They just sent me pictures of my rig and it looks awesome and will be shippped and arrive in 7 days. Their service is far better then what I’ve heard from years past. I saved money with these NEW premium parts and it’s under warranty. I will have it in 16 days from order(ordered on a Saturday). They answered my many questions and concerns. They even took pictures of it built(running 2nd day of tests) and it looks JUICY ASF! I cannot wait to do an unboxing and review. The Venom X is by far the best value they currently offer for High end as of 5/21/2022 with part scarcity. Maingear / oem are way overpriced.

I get that people want to have businesses building/upgrading PCs because it's fun and your average Joe Schmoe doesn't feel confident to do it themselves or doesn't want to have to figure out how to do it - but an underlying problem I see is that there just isn't a lot of margin to be had while still charging ethically-fair prices. $100 build fee seems fine, but you notice these companies and many people trying to sell their old systems on Craiglist, FB Marketplace, etc often end up trying to jack up the parts cost beyond fair market value as well to bump their profits. This just furthers my suspicion that this isn't really a good business idea. Labor fees to build or upgrade sure, but there isn't enough fair margin to be had to run a business solely on that.

They have the same amount of cores/threads same base and boost clock same architecture the only difference is 2200g being an APU and the 1300x having double the L3 cache. Just thought I’d let you know that the frame rate would be literally the same maybe one more FPS for the 1300x. PS love your vids, just don’t want people to keep on thinking this common mistake

The case in the thumbnail looks pretty cool. I generally don't go for the flashy RGB cases, fans, etc probably because most are so loud and obnoxious.(seriously give me an old fashioned early 2000's LED lite case/fan combo any day of the week) But I like that one.

I find it hysterical that KZbin has paired this with an ad from Lyte Technologies! Otherwise, thanks for a clear item by item review.

The prices aren't too terrible for the cheaper models given the specs until you realize that they won't have a warranty and that these are likely OEM parts with a shelf life that's likely used up already.

They advertise using new and used parts. The fact that you’re breaking down the company for making a profit just backs the fact that you’re a know it all. Some people just want to buy decent pcs that play games. The pricing isn’t bad when comparing other brands. Why is it such a big deal for people to want to spend less than 1000 on a pc? And why do you feel the need to dumpster on those who can’t build their own?

Box of VHS tapes I have no relation to the company at all. Nor do I care to. Just sick of elitist pc guys that think everyone is exactly like them

@@musiclover9898 Did you not watch the entire video? This business publishing false information at the very least out of ignorance. This is not about elitism, this is about spreading false information intentionally or not to entice an individual into buying something. I would wager it was intentional but that is besides the point.
