Proud to be Ethiopian. I was never colonised and will always speak my own language and cherish my culture. The french will NEVER tell me what to do. We were Christians before Europeans and had our own languages and history for over 2,000 years. 😊

Still waiting for "Africa under European influence" headline. I am a Pan African. I do not know this "influencer", but the movement is bigger than any individual because African culture is about collectivism instead of individualism. On another note, Africa choosing to side with Russia is a no brainer. I do not understand why you guys expect Africa to support people who enslaved and colonized its people. Russia (and China) on the other hand supported Africans against colonialism, so Russia, China, Cuba and the rest of the free world who stood with us in the darkest hour will forever be our real friends and we ought to stand by them in their times of need.

It’s for Africans to decide and assume the attraction they have towards one group, country or a person, isn’t it? Nobody complains about the far right in Europe. Nobody talks about influence (which is a cover to negate the free will of people). So the way I see it is that as well as Europe has far right groups, as well as Africans have the same kind of individuals or groups on the continent. Simple as that. Now, time to move on and respect this matter of facts and stop complaining about influence of this country or this one. Pitiful when you do so. 😂😂😂

Everyone criticizes far right and far left in Europe and in the USA. It's a world of political, military , economic and cultural interests , where nobody moves on , because what happens in one place reverberates in others. You are right that it is up for the Africans to decide who they partner with and what kind of partnerships they engage in .And it's up for the rest of the world to have an opinion on that and act accordingly. Like how Zimbabwe buys helicopters from Russia at 10 million dollars a piece , when they are valued at 2m and people think Russia is doing them a huge favor. But hey, nothing to worry about I'm sure there's also 11 million Africans in EU and only 30.000 Africans in Russia. Must be because the Europeans are so pitiful . Not a big problem if EU makes some radical decisions about this attraction you've mentioned, especially since you're already used to the idea that nobody criticizes far right groups. 😂😂😂
