Investigator Sheila Ramos testified at the trial on Monday.
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

I work as a paramedic. People like her are treating this like an everyday event because it is for them. It doesn't necessarily mean they lack empathy or aren't sympathetic to what happened. Imagine you were them. Every day you come across dead or dying people. It would get pretty tiring after awhile being somber all the time. People who work with death a lot become desensitized to it

I agree Greg McMichaels claimed he pulled Ahmaud's hand from underneath him to see if he had a gun. But he already knew Ahmaud was unarmed because he witnessed him try to take the shotgun when it was aimed at him. If Ahmaud had a handgun he would have already pulled it out since he clearly feared fir his life and was trying to get away. McMichaels didn't know the neighbor called the police long before Travus pointed the shotgun at Ahmaud as the father finally called 911. McMichaels was likely trying to put the handgun in Ahmaud's Hand until he realized it was registered to him. He'd have to come up with another lie about how Ahmaud got his gun. There was no reason to pull Ahmaud's arm out other than checking to see if he was dead which he was not. He was still alive when the officer pulled up seconds later.

@@keishapuryear8180 exactly what I thought. Except I think he changed his mind when TM says to Daddy, Roddy got it all on tape as Roddy pulls up. My question is...how many pedestrians have been struck and killed in this neighborhood? How many of Daddy's cases just happened to be found with a gun not reported stolen until it was found under the victim? Is there any evidence that those reports were back dated to claim the theft happened before the death of the suspect? Also, what kind of police department deputizes citizens to enforce the law, while the actual law enforcement officers rent out themselves, their weapons, and their patrol cars to private businesses? Sounds like instead of law enforcement, they have a cash protection racket. This IMHO is reasonable suspicion for the FBI to open an investigation.

Im very happy this trial wasnt politicized like the Rittenhouse trial was. Unlike Thomas Binger, the prosecutor followed the laws of the United States and was flawless in breaking down the citizens arrest laws in Georgia. I wont lie, i was leaning towards the McMichaels being acquitted until i listened to the prosecutor present her case and prove way beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendants were guilty. Im as conservative as it gets but even i have the sense to know that its assinine to do what the defendants did. If the victim was a child rapist and murderer on the run then maybe i understand, but to attempt a citizens arrest for trespassing and maybe theft of a powertool is ridiculous.

Exactly ! That prosecutor did a great job laying everything out, wish she had been the prosecutor in the Zimmerman case. She laid every little thing out so there was no doubt left. Somebody questioning her case would give me question in their integrity as a juror to be honest. I applaud this judge as well. His demeanor was criticized but had he been outwardly sympathetic I’m sure it would’ve given the McMichaels grounds for a mistrial. Didn’t follow the Rittenhouse case but from what I understand it turned out some of the witnesses were shown to have lied? Yeah…not gonna go well ever.
