Invicta Releases Swiss Made Diver | Pass or Fail?

The Invicta diver in today's video was a gift, but was considered prior to receiving it. The aesthetics is what attracted me to this piece, but what do you think? Just from the looks, would you consider it? Well, is so, I have a link to the best value for today's Invicta.

The thing about Invicta and other manufacturers that mostly produce watches out side of Switzerland, anything they make with Swiss made on the dial barely meets the requirements which are loose to begin with. "The watch's production cost (as a whole) must be Swiss-based and should comprise at least 60% in total; however, if it is a mechanical Swiss watch, there should be at least 80% of the production cost that is connected to the operations conducted in Switzerland." This means you can throw a Swiss made movement in the back and make the case and bracelet in China, send it back to Switzerland to have it assembled and that technically qualifies as "Swiss made."

I luv the glide lock clasp the best, but luv the push button milled clasps on most pieces...wished they wouldnt use potato chip clasp at all lol

Nice video. i think this watch has too many conflicting aesthetics. you have an octogonal inner area with a round bezel creates gaps and almost seems like its damaged and bent where the bezel meets it. You have a huge date wheel but still use a cyclops which makes the date too big to even see if completely. you have a bracelet that looks almost identical to the panerai crown guard bracelet they use on their older models yet use a simple clasp. Love to see you make content. I think you are most genuine and down to earth watch reviewer out there and cant wait to see you get big.

I like that case design! I also like the handset. that bracelet taper is fairly sharp and narrows quickly, wondering how does it sit on wrist, looks as though it might be a little top heavy because of the bracelet? Just wondering, nice find I assume you got it during invictastores sale?

i bought this watch 119$ but i regret that i choose the gold tone, it do look nice in video but its a little bit too much out side. i should have bought the pépsi silver tone

I think the 2824 and sw200 have essentially the same standard deviation per online resources. They are essentially the same movement, and possibly the sw200 could be considered better due to the extra wear protection from the extra jewel

@Trapvision3D although my sw200 is about 11 seconds fast and my 2825-2 is about 0-2 depending on winding. I also have an nh35 that's well within cosc at about 3 seconds slow. Any of these movements, if regulated, can run incredibly well.

Rondas “Mecano” R-150 is a great movement, and on my equipment it wasn’t as bad as you said. I’m a Rolex Certified tech, and yes I own this 😂 (with the blue dial and a gold bezel) it’s my beater. Now I hate to be bearer of bad news but these movements are cheap, in fact you can the ETA you mentioned for about 60 bux. $150 is where this watch belongs price wise, anything higher its not worth it.

I have 3 of the one black dial and 2 blue 44751 on sale I think china put swiss made on the dia haha china makes swiss made lol l got ronda automatic r150 goid movement its says 2,500 on invicta watch store I don't care as long ticks keep time good works long I get warranty on it 3 years my tissot in for service crown on tissot crapy on my tissot ocean star 1000 no charge under 2 years warranty taking about 2 months get it back from repair services

The CEO is good friends with the CEO of Ronda, so I assume that would be another avenue for Invicta to utilize a Swiss facility.
