i have the n1 catback and the skunk 2 downpipe and the cabin drone is so loud on the highway, you cant have a conversation. i like it because it gives me an excuse if im not listening to my girlfriend. XD

The n1 sounds like shit. It sounds like a rice can. The q300 sounds way better. That's probably why it costs more.

ya I have an n1 and it’s awful ... I want my car to sound as quiet as possible lol My old si had a full race and it was too loud too but the n1 is worse (but it doesn’t help my n1 has a broken exhaust gasket -_-)

@@Justin87878 it depends on a few things... some residential areas have noise ordinances so having that set up would be a bad idea for a daily if thats the case for your area. also some tracks wont let you race if you have a set up thats too loud. again, that depends on your local track. i daily drove mine and had the cops called on me tons of times but most of the time i got let off with a warning or just scolded. XD i do recommend a high flow catted downpipe and a q300. thats a good set up thats not too loud but just loud enough and sounds good too.

Q300 is the quietest exhaust, but I honestly like it. Most of the aftermarket exhausts for the 9th gen are way too loud & even sound like fart cans like you mentioned. I had a Tsudo exhaust for mine, never again.

Bro great video. I just installed mine on my 09 WRX Hatch and I was immediately disappointed because of how quiet it was compared to others. I knew I wanted a deeper tone but it seems like that the only way to unlock it is for the catless downpipe. I herd a good setup with someone running a toemi catless dp 🤔

My FG2 has the Megan longtube headers with test pipe fitted with a glasspack, and the Q300, It sounds just right! Not a cop magnet either !

My cabin drone is pretty significant as well lol. N1 with a catless dp. Definitely love the sound though. As for your rattle, my buddy has an fg4 and he had the skunk2 exhaust. There was a bolt that was coming from the car back towards where the mid pipe meets the axelback. We just grinded the bolt down a little and the rattle is gone. Hope it helps. The clip of the bolt is at the end of my latest video if you want a visual of what was happening.

I've got the N1 on my fb6. The piping before the muffler rubs the springs for my suspension on my coils. I think it's "normal" if you're lowered with the invidia exhausts. Not saying it's good but it's just one of those things 🤷🏼‍♂️

sorry this response is late but yes hondata will open the car up a lot, but youll need to pair with a downpipe as a cat back exhaust doesnt add power just noise. downpipe with hondata is where its at

I daily mine, so I just want a nice exhaust that sounds nice, and deeper but isn't overly loud. I don't have plans for changing downpipes for a very long time, if ever. Yonaka, and Q300 both sound good on stock downpipe and I might do a K&N SRI, I don't plan to tune my car or anything, or make big power. I like the car how it is primarily stock, I just want it to sound nice, and I want my VTEC cross-over to be more audible, but I worry about heatsoak too. I have nice wheels and tein coils too. My current set up with a moderate exhaust, and a better intake for when I want to have a little fun is all I need.
