NATIN2KRAZY HAWAII a header is a type of exhaust manifold. The 9th gen si does not have the header style manifold, it has a log style manifold aka Down pipe.

I can’t get my Q300 axle back on the stock mid pipe... the flange is offset by an inch or so from the mid pipe and when I get it bolted up the muffler ends up hitting my heat shield and doesn’t quite align back to the hanger. I’ve tried putting the hangers on first but can’t even get the muffler to fit on the flange.. Does the q300 axle back not fit on the stock mid pipe or am I just not trying hard enough? Or could my muffler hanger have been repaired/installed improperly as my car was in a rear end accident from the previous owner?

JJreal I’d recommend a cat back 3in ktuned exhaust. Gives it a nice deep tone and isn’t loud

hello Brian, what exhaust hanger are you using with the muffler? Thanks I installed and using oem exhaust hanger, and it is sitting a bit low ... leaving the big gap between bumper and muffler looks kinda stupid lol

id like to know how many decibels the q300 puts out outside the car and in the cabin. would you be willing to make a video about that to get a good perspective on the cabin drone? there is an app that works pretty good called Decibel 10th. my n1 with the catless downpipe puts the cabin drone at 110 decibels.

I'm between Q300, and Yonaka for an exhaust, my Si is also my daily. The Q300 is a little more quiet, but the Yonaka is also a mix between deep, and not too loud or raspy.

If you’re just doing a cat back no code will come on..now if you do a downpipe a code will come on and you will have to get a tuner

Was it a direct fit? I have the same setup and I think im getting an exhaust leak between the dp and q300 catback. Almost sounds like i have an intake... then again i don't have a tune. Mine also threw a check engine like and doesnt cross over vtec. I love the sound but sucks when I accelerate with that whistle sound

Forgot to add I had to push the q300 for it to bolt onto the dp

I had to retighten my bolts from my dp to my stock exhaust after 1000 miles because they came loose. but the hardware invidia sent was longer so I hope that wont be an issue but I will still check and retighten every oil change
