The rune of holding from faction vendor is 1000 faction tokens, not 100. It's a little more expensive in the token department. You also get a free bag from the Inn Quest.

You do get one faction change from the start so picking the right faction isn't a huge deal. You can change immediately if needed, but after that you have to wait 120 days. Also, the rune of holding is 1000 tokens. These are important details for people to know so you have to be sure the information on those is correct my friend. Only thing I would add about the faction gear, is the first tier faction gear weapons are useful for tanks. If you plan to do the first dungeon, it's the only guaranteed way to get a weapon with a Gem slot for the taunt gem in the early game.

Is crafting xp based on your level? Thinking is if its xp is like GW2 it would level up 10 levels no matter if it was level 1-10 or 70-80. Is it better to gather as you level up and craft at like level 50?

I would put more stock in tier 1 faction armor vs higher level armor. Cause at lvl 15 being in full faction gear is a good solid baseline. At higher level other gear has better perks and with increased faction and gold costs it's really not cost effective. You will be better off getting boe gear from auction and guildies. Especially with how much gear people get from expeditions.

@@Invin but at that point you obtain gear a ton faster than you level. Especially if you ask friends to keep an eye out for gear for your build. An expedition run will net you about 20 pieces of stuff around your average gear score. Just communicate to the other people running the expedition what you are looking for. This should net you a couple pieces of gear specifically for your build. But if you don't do many corruption portals or expeditions and need something to spend your faction tokens on, then sure but i would advise checking the market first cause the gold costs are pretty substantial at later tiers.

FYI you can only re roll a piece of faction armor once and you can’t re roll it again. So if your thinking late game you can just buy the tokens with the stats you want and change the gear stats when ever you want to change up your build you can’t. You would have to buy a new item that is the same then re roll that one. You can’t re roll same item twice.

t2 faction gives a good alternative to armor choice and the gear score is pretty good for lvl 25 requirement. Plus u can use seals to change it to which ever attribute/con you wish for another 100 tokens.

Good tips! But i dont understand why players are so obsessed over speed leveling and trying to hit 60 asap.. Just enjoy the game... Chill.. Craft... And basically enjoy the game.. I personally think that xp is the best choice whenever you get it, if the 300 levels in each territory there’s only 4 choices for xp gain. The diminishing returns on all other upgrades makes it work it, storage doesn’t have diminishing returns but you never have to choose between xp or storage 👍

You need to choose between xp or storage 3 out of 4 times that xp card appears so basically you will be losing 75 weight in your storage to gain +10% xp. I will take xp anyways cause at standing level 300 you can have something near to 2500 weight each seattlement and you also can have 3 houses with 4 storages each too. I disagree that xp card is a trap card I'm pretty sure that +10% xp can make a big difference on the run to 60.

EVER! :'D) Hey I have an other question about housing. You mentioned, that it's great to wait for your guild to claim a zone before buying a home, but what if I don't have a guild? Which zone on the map will most likely be a hot spot for late game activity/ the place where a solo player would want to create his main home? (Important, because the first home is much cheaper to buy) I was checking the current map as well as the leaked one and I think areas like ebon scale or the great cleave, maybe even the shattered mountain could be good places, when we consider the leaked map. (Because the leaked map showed new zones in North-West. I think the "cleave's point" and "mountainhome" seem to be great towns to buy your first home, because they both are fairly close to the current north-west border and show roads towards future locations. I just imagine it being a real pain in the butt to get to these towns the first time you reach 10k gold. What do you guys think? Is this necessary or will we get enough money easily to buy a second big house in such a location in the future anyway?

I think you will have more than enough money to but second and third homes by the time you get to 60 tbh so where your faction owns that you spend alot of time for your first one as you get a faction discount too!

if the light armour head piece goes to your armour set bonus/perk wise for head pieces only you can right click them in their equipped slot in inventory and select change skin and one the skins is 'hide helmet' that you can use to hide the wig while still getting bonuses/perks of it if this helps your build

@@dono6696 Its a mix of that with some other cool elements about how all the different mobs and cultures ended up on the island and also hints to alot of upcoming content, ser medieval does some great lore videos that are easy to follow! :D
