If Flash stuck to a support/saving role instead of going on the offense AND if the Guardians knew it was "like that" from the jump, I think they could have won. Omni went for the rogue opener because he at the very least felt like there was a chance he would lose the head to head 1v 8 if he had made it clear it was a deathmatch from the start. Guardians for sure could still lose though.

let's just take a moment to mention that this scene referenced "The 180 neck snap", "The puny god smash", "The Negan homerun", and "The Viper skull crush", ALL IN THE SAME FIGHT, and MAKING SENSE. instead of being shocked by the gore, you should be all applauding the writer's knowledge of gore moves. if something like Scary Movie copied this same trope and dropped you all random jokes in the scene out of nowhere, you'd be ROFL'ing your ass off at the clever references! *as I'm sure many of you actually DID!*
