What i love so much about this show and franchise is that it started with this "SuperHero but bad" gimmick like the boys. But instead of just being that stretched out into a whole show , its actually really good with its story and expecially the characters. Everyone is so well written out , its not super over the top action , or over the top drama. It's a story about characters and how they deal with these unfortunate circumstances in a very realistic way. I especially love how they handled Debbie's character , so realistic and relatable

My thoughts: Knowledge is power. Planting a mole keeps them one step ahead. I figure there's always going to be some form of resistance against the Viltrumites and if the planet was destroyed, the Coalition might just re-establish somewhere else, or a new resistance movement would just take their place eventually. And, destroying the planet might only make them a martyr and strengthen the passions of any future resistance movements, and cause future Viltrumite conquests to be met with resistance more often. I haven't read the comics so I have no real idea lol

Man I loved this season so far really good character development and Optimus Prime leading The Coalition is fkin amazing man and I also loved Allen The Alien episode and ofc Omni-Man returning I loved what they did with Debbie as well I can’t wait for episode 4 and more Invincible and The Boys for next year count me man can’t wait for more breakdowns and Easter eggs.

From my memory....there was an informer/traitor in the comics... It was one of the tech alien twins, which the show payed respect to. So that isnt new, it is straight out of the comic itself.

This episode was just gut punch after gut punch: you get Debbie saying goodbye to Mark, Allen bravely sacraficing himself to the Viltrimites only to have the coalitions leader pull his life support, Kate talking about the true weight of her powers, Debbie finally opening up only to get devastatingly scorned for Nolan’s actions, and if all that wasn’t just gut churning enough, Mark gets tricked into going to a planet and finds his dad there…like holy shit, this is probably the most invested I’ve ever been in the series outside Season 1’s last two episodes and it was good to see an episode like this after the admittedly clustered direction of the second episode. Plus it was an absolute pleasure to hear Cullen’s velvety voice in this episode.
