So, I know you probably don't read these, but to whom ever does, I would like to ask a favor. Their is a Japanese instrumental band called Asterism. Steve, they are phenomenal! Many say that the young female guitarist reminds them of a cross between you, and Stevie Ray Von. In any case, please pull up their youtube channel and look at some of their live performances. If you are blown away by their talent, consider inviting them to open for you sometime. They are big in Japan, but could use a break in the US. I'm a 62 year old, former touring guitarist, and in my humble opinion, they deserve it. I'm mentioning it to you, because you are one of the few truly great instrumentalist, that commands enough respect to give them a break. Continue to have a great life. You are one of the greatest guitarist in several generations. May God bless you, brother.

Saw the show in Little Rock and was blown away! I've seen Steve 6 or 7 times before and this was the Best! No singing, no pop songs, just a well structured evening of Mr. Vai showing what he does best! I don't mind a show-off if you got the chops to back it up! That's what Show Business is all about.
