They make a material that's called ice guard It keeps ice away from the wood underneath the shingles And when you put a nail through it seals itself back up it's like a A rubber and tar We have to use it in Michigan because of our Weather here

I have never seen anyone clean framing timber before so bravo!

It will probably be visible so it's good to look clean. Should be sanded too though so there are no rough edges.

@@garrysekelli6776😂😂😂 He isn’t cleaning it because it will be seen, he brushing spots of mildew and mold off of it and spraying a form of sealant on it to protect it from bugs and rot.

Non per fare critiche negative solo un suggerimento poiché sono carpenterie non usate i chiodi perché con i sbalzi di temperatura si allentano .ma usate le viti

I do no understand why people leave trees so close to there structures to that's not a good idea, bad things can happen in rain and wind storms. Just my thought.

It makes a lot of sense to build in a forest because that's where the natural resources come from and available so cheap. But lacking knowledge of what happened 12,000 years ago, and 12,000 years before that, and 12,000 years before that, and... we don't expect what we don't know. Forests are known to burn but so rarely choosing to build a house of wood from the forest IN the forest is a logical progression of thought. EXCEPT when science is finally escaping government secrecy about the Micronovas that happen every 12,000 years. That's a lot of forgetting and hiding what has been learned since. But the sun has its schedule and humans aren't consulted. That forest setting will become an inferno when the sends so much energy to Earth that everything combustible bursts into flame-- cities, farms, fields, and forests. We got just a peek at that scenario in the Carrington event in 1859 when the Micronova first introduced itself. I wasn't around then, of course, but in my 80+ years I've noticed the sun change from a gentle yellow all day, to a blazing white. Perhaps in a decade or two, it will turn red, then black. In a much shorter time I watched my compass no longer pointed north and checked to find out that N&S magnetic poles had both left their polar environments, heading for the equator. More details in my book, Surviving the Micronova.

Looks good, but please, get rid of the gloves !
@BEV032311 ай бұрын
@billgilham... Those gloves protect his hands from getting so beat and banged up. Not only that, they probably help him to better grip things when holding and picking up whatever he's handling. Just because you think he should "get rid of those gloves" is not necessarily a good idea...yes, you are very wrong there.
