Michael Hutchence was so lovely. My little sister was a huge INXS fan in the 80's; she and her friends used to go to all their shows and cram up to the edge of the stage. Michael used to wear a couple of dozen thin little hoop bracelets on his left arm, and he would throw them into the audience - for years, my sister had one of those. She and her friends used to follow them around when they were in L.A., and would cram up to the edge of the stage. :D

"Never Tear Us Apart"is terrific. "Need You Tonight", also brilliant. If you're looking for deepness (and who isn't lately), you should try "Original Sin". So many good ones to choose from....

"Suicide Blonde" - INXS Interesting factoid: their lead singer Michael Hutchence died, and INXS was the first group to participate in the reality TV show 'Rock Star' where they had a 'The voice' or 'American Idol' like singing competition to pick a new lead singer. When I was in Milwaukee that following summer at Summer Fest (think 8 Lalapolusas at the same time for 8 days - 8 main stages with mainstream bands all day every day) I ran the sound mixing board for INXS with the new lead singer. Toby Keith was performing on the stage next to us. Every band has to perform at Summer Fest if they expect to get or maintain a record contract for the following year.

INXS were huge in Australia and we all knew their music whether a fan or not. I wasn’t a dedicated fan but I am not one for popular music, so it’s really me not them. But I have to say their music was and always will be awesome. I remember the first time I saw them in tv - insane. Devil Inside would potentially be my fave INXS song but there are so many more. Brilliant
@cnatview4 жыл бұрын
Hi India..... I learned about this song when my daughter was a teen. After listening to INXS (which I thought was pronounced, Inks and my daughter thought that was real funny. lol) I fell in love with their music. I just recently had to argue with my devil inside me. After the virus started, I had a case of toilet paper accidentally delivered to my home. I didn't order it and I saw my neighbor's address on the box....but the devil and angel jumped right out onto my shoulders. The devil said, "It's toilet paper, keep it"; the angel said, "It's not mine"; the devil said, "BUT it's toilet paper" (trying to convince me to keep it because of the scarcity of it); the angel stood strong and said, "It's not mine." So I called the neighbor and told them that I had received their package and they came over and picked it up. The next day when I went out to my car, there were 4 rolls of toilet paper on our patio table. So yeah.... that devil does tend to pop out into our lives sometimes but so does our angel. Thanks for your reaction. I haven't listened to INXS in quite some time. Take care and be well.... Peace.

This song is( good times) If you like inxs you will love cold chisel. Songs,cheap wine,you got nothing I want,Saturday night, When the war is over,my baby,ida, choir girl,forever now, Flame trees, khe sanh,no sense,shipping steel. I am certain you will go wow. Keep up the great reactions. Plus I have many more Aussie songs you would love.

Why haven't more people reacted to INXS? Muchael Hutchence was the last great Rock n Roll frontman. You should check out some of the live stuff from wembly watch him own the stage and the crowd. First time I heard this song was the Wembley gig on the radio when I was 14. It was my 2nd concert but the first real rock band I saw live(very first gig was MC Hammer!) at the SECC in Glasgow a couple of days after the Wembley gig as they finished there world. It blew me away and I was obsessed with them for til Nirvana came along . I bought a boot leg audio recording of the gig I wish I still had that.
