We lost Michael Hutchence back in 1997. He was very sensual - he loved good food, good wine and his life. In 1992 he was physically hit by a taxi and fell back onto a curb. No more taste, no more smell in that instant. His demeanor was depressed and angry. It took the living out of his life. Very sad. I'm going to suggest, Never Tear Us Apart.

Michael Hutchence was a HUGE sex symbol back in the day. We are talking Jim Morrison levels of swagger here. INXS ("in excess") were a simply brilliant band, and he was iconic as their lead singer. The lighter moments of the video are them just being aussies, having some fun while doing it. But this song and video were both considered super hot back in the day. Can't help feel if you had given it a chance rather than talked the entire way through you may have latched on to the vibe. Oh well.

IN - X - S What you saw was only half of the video we watched on MTV. In the MTV video, which won Video of the Year in 1987, they combined Need You Tonight with Mediate. You absolutely butchered this song. This was a number 1 global smash hit. You talked over it and paused way too much, which ruined the flow and therefore could not catch the vibe. I'm not sure if you are aware of this function, but there is something called a rewind button and as a professional Reactor, whenever you pause to talk, maybe rewind so that you can catch what you missed. Nothing wrong with the music video clip either, the lead singer is dripping in sex appeal throughout the footage, so I think you were watching something different!

Definitely not subscribing to the channel, your opinion is yours and that's not a problem but what annoyed me the most about this reaction is the amount of times you stopped this song to speak instead of just letting the song breathe... I prefer reaction channels that don't interrupt at all and then comment at the end, or if you absolutely have to, stop it about halfway through the song, give your view up to that point and then let the rest of the song play out. This reaction was WAY too annoying,

@brittreacts I’m a new subscriber, and absolutely love some of your reactions, but respectfully, you may have gotten this one wrong. Curious… Are you judging the song or the video? (I thought it was the former, for these reactions) And what is the distinction of joining PDC? Recognizing that this is an “overdone” 80’s video… INXS (In Excess) are one of the best bands from that era. Please check out some of their others… New Sensation - Live at Wembley, Never Tear Us Apart, Mystify etc. The whole “Kick” album is a masterpiece 🔥 You may just re-think your snap judgement.

I wish you would’ve reacted to the INXS song “Mediate”. When “Need You Tonight” was released on MTV in 1987, it was paired with “Mediate”.

It is in excess (pronounced). When I was going to the clubs in the 80's, INXS came on ALL women were on the floor.

oops! this song won 5 MTV awards in 1988, and a smash hit #1 in the charts! Michael Hutchence partner was Paula Yates the ex-wife of Bob Geldof (Live Aid), Micheal committed suicide and Paula died of a Herion overdose. Left with no parents Bob Geldof adopted there only child Tiger Lily. Sorry no joke. Maybe the lyrics ring true with him...and he was lonely. You have a lovely personality and I know you are better than mocking people.

Hey Britt. I personally agree with you but INXS fans are going to be a little mad at this reaction. LOL. That's ok, we're all still in love. She can't agree on everything you guys!
