His finger burns story is interesting. He had a suicide attempt in LA where he passed out with valium and alcphol while in a tub of water and holding a cigarette. It was NOT heroin, as haters would later try to say when the LA suicide story leaked just after his death. There was a medical report from LA and the coroner report goes back 6 months and didnt find heroin. Michael wanted his death to look like an accident so wanted to be seen happy before he took his life. That's why they speculated that he had so much valium in him and a tub full of water the day he died. He tried to "accidental drowning" suicide first and it didn't work so he ordered flowers for Paula and the girls in England and hung himself. Corooners ruled it could only be suicide as he was alone and there was no self release set up as it done with autoerotic. It was ruled suicide again by famed pathologist Richard Shepherd. The press noted the flowers delivery arrived after she took a flight to Australia just after he died. In LA he's seen singing at the Viper club on Nov 5th. He didn't have to be in LA but was bullied there by Geldof and the horrible tabloids he controlled. Even that drug bust story is SOLEY In the press. There were no drugs, no police report and no photos. Look up Freelibrary - "Paula I can't take it anymore". Anita the nanny said she didn't know about any photos. They falsely said she said she spoke to the police but the police were never contacted. She was fired there after and Bob got a new nanny. Peaches however supposedly reconnected with her as an adult. Bob could get the press to say what he wanted and where kids were involved they couldn't get more info even if they wanted to. Seeing what lies Bob could spin and how he could control what people said with gag orders and threats, Paula agreed to give Bob joint custody. He and his gf Jeanne wanted full custody though. Michael didn't want Paula to take the kids out of school to try a few months in Australia before and after xmas, (it was never for xmas - they were planning to go back to England in December - see the Police Statement of Paula Yates) Michael knew Bob would never stop tormenting them and felt Bob had won. Paula - understandably - wanted to ignore Bob and get married as they had planned. He was trapped. He loved Paula with all his heart but felt that taking his life was the only way to free Paula - sadly Bob kept tormenting her.

Even my High School boyfriend looked alot like him. 😮 I remember being at work & hearing he'd died. I was so sad. He had sooo much more music in him. Hi Colette, Michael’s passing was overshadowed by Princess Diana’s death on the same weekend in 1997. INXS was an extremely talented band that I followed from the beginning of their fame. The official cause of death was asphyxiation (hanging) due to auto erotic activity. Which DVD do you have. I have a VHS of their greatest hits and their Wembley concert video. You are a very dedicated fan, just like your bro!!

His death was no accident. Paula changed her story after first blaming bob to the press: saying Hutchence was never into s&m & that depression from the negative press was wearing him down. Many of her friends cooberated this in the bio by Lovegrove who said Paula was fearful for Michael because he was at a breaking point. He renewed his antidepressants and saw a therapist in October 97. Paula changed her story for money from tabloids & because - as was rumored at the tme - the estate needed to cast doubt on his manner of death to obtain the life insurance money that couldn't pay out in the event of suicide. Although Paula said she as challenging the coroner's report, she never did.

Under Tiger's record "Tragic Tiger's Sad Meltdon" info, it has the names of those contributing music. One is Jacob DlAMOND, one of Diamond's kids. Tiger is good friends with the Diamond family prob. cause Paula made Colin Tiger's godfather. So l'm sure that like Paula, Tiger got money from Michael's estate. - She prob. doesn't want people to know l suspect. After all, Colin cut out Michael's Mother and sister, but no one else it seems. No one else challenged Diamond.

He was severely depressed. He had had had a breakdown on Oct 17, the month before, and went to see a therapist then renewed his prescriptions. (Coroner report and interview in the Herald) In the UK Observer, article called “ln the eye of the storm”, friend Catherine Mayer, said ” Michael had called just a few days before he passed, crying so hard I couldn't make out every word, talking of legal battles & the endless, relentless press attention”.

INXS is an iconic band, is was a tragedy that Michael hutchence died relatively young. No doubt had he not died in 1997, The band will be on tour around the world. Most people that either met Michael or knew him said similar, if not the exact same things about him. Such as how kind he was and how he made others feel good, especially before the incident in 1992. Then those that knew him well mentioned his behavior changed following his brain injury. But as far as the suicide story at the end i remain skeptical because as someone who knew him and worked with the band said for a person that wrote words for a living (song lyrics) no suicide note was strange. For me suicide stories make me wonder if they're actually true or is foul play part of it, especially when it involves rich and famous people. However, i think all suicides should be thoroughly investigated regardless if the coroner lists their death as accidental or not. Better to be thorough and find out what you may already assume, thus confirming any unproven theories, or debunking any myth regarding the suicide. Beyond that towards the end of Michael's life he clearly was stressed and struggling with a variety of things. But i feel like whenever you are rich and famous and attractive. Most people can't imagine those people ever have a bad day. But we all have good and bad days. Plus, if the music gets many people through tough times in their lives. How do those that make those wonderful legendary songs and videos. How do they get through tough times, when they lose their voice and desire to perform fades. How do they pick up the pieces of the shattered life they're living and carry on? Particularly when they may have lost the lead singer of their band, and a friend or family member. Cause the fans want the dead person not them because they're not Michael, or Freddy, or whomever. Which would cause trauma for the remaining members of a band. On one hand they have lost someone they liked or loved, but also they lose a part of themselves that was invested in the other person that died. In modern times it is easier to collaborate with dead people with hologram performances and audio recordings, etc. but the live performances are not the same for obvious reasons. But at some point all the worries and all the fears disappear and people forget about the world whenever they're dead. Luckily the world have many great memories of INXS and Michael to enjoy on video, despite Michael's death 27 years ago. His fame has lessened somewhat, but to still be entertaining others after death isn't such an easy task, but the legends among us make it happen, plus his legacy and that of inxs lives on for an eternity on the Internet.

It's horrible loss and irresponsible life he had living on the edge as he did. Nothing but a tragedy here from the people who loved him and were his family and friends. I saw the band in a small show in Champaign Illinois college. They had great energy and stage, but outside of their songs that were their hits. I didn't really connect with their music. I think I thought Michael Hutchinson was really beautiful at the time.

I want you to know something that I learned after writing this that Michael Hutchinson was in a horrible accident with his girlfriend in italy, and he was attacked by a taxi driver that hit him and knocked him unconscious and he almost lost his life, but when he woke up from this the doctors told him he was never gonna be the same. He was really angry towards his girlfriend, and he had a lot of violent mood swings now this never came out until after he passed away, but he was battling brain injury for many years and his was the reason they believe he actually killed himself, and that they believe it was an accident too, that he really did wanna live. Michael never let his family know this took place and it was never in the news because he didn't want it to affect his career and his life. I have delved deeply into his life and his family and I am always sad to see so many of my favorite artist from the 80a passing away. You know his wife also killed herself as she couldn't deal with his loss and his daughter also recently killed herself. She was just baby at the time of his passing.

I remember the day he died so very clearly. I lived in Chatswood on the north shore of Sydney (less than 20km from the hotel that Michael passed away in) It was about midday ish on the Saturday morning and I decided to wash my car out the front of my house on the grass. I turned the car radio on whilst drying the car to listen to music and an INXS song was playing. That song finished and another INXS track came on. Then another. And another. I remember thinking ‘must be an INXS 4 play thing or something to celebrate the upcoming tour. Then the radio announcer said that he had died. RIP MH❤
