One of my favorite INXS songs from my favorite INXS album, THE SWING. Every song on that album is great, but this one is just a masterpiece. Rest In Peace Michael. The world still mourns your passing and we miss you.

INXS was a popular band, but they never were a top-of-the-pops kind of band (except for Kick). They had such strange, but wonderful, rhythm. You could tell it was unique for it's time. They ran with it, and it worked.
@dlevans72 Жыл бұрын
They were big in Australia for almost 10 years before becoming popular overseas (US ) Most overseas markets never heard of Shaboo Shabah or The Swing, which is a shame.

Great song. Does anyone else think their earlier stuff was superior to the later stuff? In the early days they were much more topical EG Underneath The Colours is about racism / nationalism. Black and White and Original Sin were basically about the same topic. And as for Just Keep Walking...if anyone knows wtf that one was about....please let me know. 30+ years later I still have no idea

Art is intangible.. and subjective by its spherical loopy nature. Half full/half empty
@menchualcarazmoreno17434 жыл бұрын
Really you don't know what Just keep walking is? The little storie about this song has been well publicited, though. The band was playing for all Australia and have no money for staying in hotels. So they should come back home by driving, 13 hours of travel across the country, sometimes. That was hard and even dangerous. So they composed this song remembering the hard days of the beginning.

Mark Opitz did an amazing job with the remix. So much better than the album version. Really loved Kirk's use of guitar harmonics on this track. One of my fave INXS tunes of all time.
