Ok so everyone needs to know the button for blue tooth is weird on this device. After it is powered on, DO NOT HOLD DOWN the Blue tooth button for any period of time, some people posted to hold it down for 4 or 5 seconds...not true. You tap on it (it appears that nothing is happening), and THEN WAIT 4 or 5 seconds (then you will see the blue tooth icon), holding it down will never let it come on. It took me half an hour of trial error to figure this out. Lastly, if you are connecting to a Windows-based laptop or desktop go into your computer's Settings> Bluetooth & other devices, and checkmark "Show notifications to connect using Swift Pair". This makes it easier to connect when the ION 3 is physically close to your laptop or desktop device.

I bought an ION pathfinder IV speaker but I cannot bluetooth my samsung 20 phone to it. It gives me a message that I need an app to Bluetooth. I download the ION app an ot shows the speaker is compatible but still cannot Bluetooth to it. Any suggestions?

my pathfinder won’t stay on when it’s not plugged in, when it is plugged in, it says that it’s fully charged and then i try to take it off the charger and use it but it turns on and turns off

If it's not compatible with it it's not going to charge. It will flash but it's not charging it.
