You wrote the ionisation equation for Cl2 and Na in the gaseous state but then wrote the ionic equations without needing to put it in?

Hi :) I just started A-levels (the edexcel board). I've been through the local equivalent of IGCSE and i was wondering how you got that electronic configuration because at my level it was simply 2.8.1 for the Na atom and 2.8.7 for the Cl atom. Do you maybe have a video which covers this step? Thank you

The idea of high charge density with the small ions being more stronger due to the close interactions of electrostatic forces but the larger ions having a weaker force in comparison confuses me could anyone explain maybe in visual terms how this is possible as I thought the larger ion having bigger charges, and what I would think larger electrostatic force interactions is wrong

When talking about physical propities r u talking about ionic bonds in general or specifically sodium n chlorine. Like how it has high MP and is soluble in water etc

General, however, remember that such properties will depend on the size or charge of ion

what are the evidences of existence of ions and the density maps
