So on my IPhone 15 Pro Max, I did not get Apple intelligence and Siri is still just the same old ball. I went into the Apple intelligence & Siri and had a link stating I would be put on an Apple Intelligence wait list. I'm getting so weary of all the hype and then still waiting.

This is the official stable version 18.1, not the public or developer beta. Version 18.2 is out as a developer beta, which typically has many bugs. It's generally not recommended to download it, as it's intended for developers, not for general users.

iOS 18.1 is available in South Africa. But no Apple Intelligence features - the update file size is 1.71 GB - no mention of Apple Intelligence in the support notes. I checked with my IPhone 15 pro and iPhone 16 pro. Looks like a staggered approach world wide
