From what I saw in the keynote, what’s critical to know is, Apple “Intelligence” is only available for 15 Pro, Pro Max, and newer iPhones (which don’t yet exist). All of their previous customers, even iPhone 15 non-Pro, are excluded.

You can type numbers by holding the numbers key and pressing whatever you want from there at the same time, once you release the finger on top of the numbers icon they normal keyboard comes back. Yeah, it is not a number row but it's fast and pretty handy, I don't even want numbers in the keyboard all the time.

I had iPhones for a long time and, one day, my last iPhone broke down and because the new model was two months ahead I decided to wait and buy a cheap Samsung phone for this period of time. All of the sudden, I discovered a numbers row in the keyboard, a FILES app, that I can connect the phone with my computer like an external HDD, customization, more than 60Hz, and so on, just for a fraction of my previous iPhones. Next iPhone was the same, so I bought a Samsung flagship phone, the rest is history. Remember, we are the ones who pays for the phones and the ones who says what we want. Not them. Well iPhone itself is far more advanced than a Samsung galaxy smartphone. But this update was to give it a Samsung treatment since these are highly requested features. But this just means that now theres zero reason to get an android lol since iPhone was already a superior smartphone even before this update. This is just the "fun" update since androids had the fun aspect to their GUI.

Just off of software alone apple is still way behind, only ahead via software performance, which isn't something I really care about when my software, I'm talking iOS, still can't do anything useful without being jailbroken. Even on iOS 18 I'm sure if I had an iPhone I still would find a reason to jailbreak it. In fact I already have one, so I can install my own apps without them expiring every day. In terms of hardware the differences are so negligible that it's not really a factor in my opinion. Considering that the galaxy runs a real operating system I stead of a glorified toy os it's the clear winner in my opinion.

As a (neutral) Android user, I'd say that Apple has done some customisation in notification area & app icons, but they don't seem so great. Customisation in the notification area is tooooo much. There has to be a limit to this till the time they enable functions. 03 pages of notification area is somewhat wired. Icon customisation in colours is tacky coz third party icons would be great (like icons of Miui, One UI, Pixel, Funtouch OS & Harmony os)

I have no idea how it's harder to do these things on Android. But I will admit one thing, I am excited for these features to come to iPhone because it's an iPhone, the world's most advanced smartphone. I am not excited for these features on existing androids because Android OS is a cheapy OS. It's a knock off of iPhone. I like iPhone because of how powerful its RAM algorithms are, its GPU, its CPU, its app development, its industry leading Apple engineered display technology, and its 3D facial recognition which Apple developed. So I welcome Android features on iPhone since I am an iPhone user.

It was the world's first Dolby Vision video camera, world's first 2000+ nits display on a smartphone, world's first 3nm processor. It is the fastest smartphone on the planet in terms of CPU/app development. It is the phone with satellite connectivity without an antenna sticking out of it. There is no Chinese phone that will beat iPhone anytime soon lmao.

@@Truth7860 Yeah so the Chinese phone youre talking about can take higher quality photos than iPhone in outdoor daylight situations. But then in low light, iPhones 48mp camera will probably take a sharper photo lol. iPhone is the first Dolby Vision video camera, which is a feat that no Chinese phone pulls ahead in. iPhone now allows LOG ProRes video recording as well so it is a lot more professional grade compared to any Chinese phone video camera. The portrait mode on iPhone was first on iPhone and is still among the best even today.

Also the usability for pro res from a phone camera with such a small sensor defeats the purpose of doing commercial grade videography on a phone. There have been multiple articles from people in the industry refuting Apples claims about how “great” they are. Apple has unfortunately become a scam claim company offering useless upgrades each year rather than giving customers a truly usable product. The Chinese phones that are out today just for China won’t be available in the US for another 3-5 years.

I hate samsux cheap laggy phones and their customer service sucks a$$ I spent thousands on Samsung products my galaxy buds stopped working they said they would fix it free of charge it was under warranty and they call and told me it would cost $100 to fix them I gave them the choice to honor warranty or lose a customer now I have a iPhone

I've been an android user all my adult life, I'm in need of a new phone and I'm giving serious consideration to the new iPhone 16, however having spent a few days researching reviews and videos etc everything Apple offer had been on my 5 year old phone from the start? And apple doesn't have use/have clipboard which is a feature I use everyday. Am I missing something with apple or are they just not that great? This is a genuine question? 😊

I hate this update every screen shot I have when I’m scrolling through my pic it minimizes it. It’s so annoying. I wish I hadn’t done this update. Is there anyway to stop that?

Thank you for your video ❤❤ it was amazing and loved every second . I left Samsung for the first time in my life and came to Apple and I agree with everything you said in the video . I can smell all the hate In the comment section towards Apple without even looking at comments but they’re lowkey mad Apple is doing it better tbh . Well it was Symbian OS the one who created the organize icon, and widget featured, and it was sharp who created the first phone with a built in camera.
