@@BMar1andonly the reason you need a screen protector is because paper feels like paper because of friction, if you design a higher friction Apple Pencil tip, you’ll either scratch the display, make another type of mark or remove the display coating over time. It’s only viable if you already have a screen protector on.

@@jaybird0312 On the off chance of repeating myself, Siri isn't anything fancy, but it works perfectly and does everything I need it to do. I use it 10x per day at least. For example when I am cooking and I realize I am out of a food item I just say "add XYZ to my groceries" and it does it, always, without mistakes or issues. i ask it to remind me of doing things, i ask it to set timers, alarms etc. i mean its just so lazy and easy, I wonder why you would not use it at least ocassionally. and also, i wonder, what is supposedly wrong with it, because I dont see it.

Basic things I am expecting. When I have 3 Apple devices in the same room where 1 has a timer which is going off, when I say cancel timer I do not want one of the other devices to answer first and say there is no timer set. This is hugely irritating since it always happens as the alarm for the timer keeps going. 😑😡

The current icon shape is great I don’t see a need to change it. I’ve seen a concept where they had the settings app be translucent so you could see your iPhone wallpaper through the app. I think that would look really cool tbh

Exactly. If the core values of the device don't change, the values that keep you from using your device in the way that's best for you, the values that disallow you from having a good experience messaging anything but iPhones, which mind you is the primary use of a phone, and so, SO much more, then the phone is fundamentally flawed in a big way. I really wish apple would fix their approach because I know that they have the capacity to really make something stellar, they just won't.

@@BritishBoy They seem scared to move away from the pages of icons model. They know that for the average user it works because people get confused by an app drawer, especially older people, but for the new generation I think it wouldn't be a problem if they moved to the app drawer model of Android. I love being able to see my entire wallpaper on Android and not a sea of icons on top of it.

Round icons on iphone? No way. On vision os it’s better because it’s less obtrusive. I wish Apple make a theme store from which we can download icons and themes. Icon outer shape should be the same shape basically for consistency.

Holy crap you're right. I never even thought of that. Every time I've used iOS after switching to android the navigation did seem a bit clunky. That is most likely a massive factor because I use my back gesture alllll the time

I really hope that some day apple would add clipboard, like in androids, it is so convenient! Also would be nice add for keyboard add , in main area, because at least i using it at lot, and it is small pain to everytime going other page to found that character. Also multitasking would really cool if its really coming! Like running 2 apps on same time is making life so much easier sometimes. these 3 things are most major things, at least for me when i was coming from android to IOS

I wish iPhone could have a live, blurred camera filter background. Using the back camera to make a low res., live color pallete as a wallpaper. The aesthetics of how the software blends in with the background on the Vision Pro is nice. I’m not a literate person so I hope this makes sense.

The new os system excites me but I generally tend keep a disciplined rule of only upgrading my phone every other year. Right now I have iOS 15 Pro, naturally, I’d wait until the iPhone 17 Pro comes out. The only reason I would change my decision on that would be if there are major differences between the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro’s AI enhanced software. Maybe some type of usability difference with the Dynamic Island similar to the differences of the iPhone 14 to the iPhone 15. Granted, honestly, I can only chalk up the biggest reasons I upgraded from the 13 Pro to the 15 Pro to the new Dynamic Island, the obviously annually acclaimed better cameras, thinner bezels, and the overall better upgrade differences that Apple puts out for their new models every year.

ios should take pixels approach while maintaining their security becuase pixel is simple and easy to use but also less time consuming and doesn't violate prouductivity while ios is a very time consuming and unproductive and its getting bezer saying for the past 15 years that it just works, pixel used to be apple like boring and time consuming, but they have fine tuned there software and made it where its still simple and easy to use and still now maintaining there definition of smartphone which is something that is time saving and more productive, for example they need to fine tune there files apps and make it work more like a computer, there notes app, there calculator should have a history because its really annoying to clear if you mis type something or for that instance add the delete button, merge motification and control center into 1 in there own style while allowing you to sswipe from down from the botton instead of making you reach all the way till the top, add a back gesture like on android for so many years, allow us to resize the widget and allow us to plave our app and widget anywhere on the screen instead of forcing it to lock to certain position, they should add a clipboard, emojis button and the number pad on the top row instead of having to switch between letters and number, add a theme store and also bring split screen at the very least to the pro max or plus models.

I doubt that they will make the icons circular on the iPhone as it doesn't make sense for a product that is rectangular in nature, it works for vision os as the icons are floating in space but not for the iPhone. Also they have had that shape of icon from the beginning, that shape is iconically iOS.
