Bro real yip man’s kicks are actually so fking powerful It said that when Yip Man was a police officer, him and his detective team went to a barn to catch these 3 criminals, and the gate was locked and secured for the police to not get in, Yip Man and his team had no tools to break the gate, so Yip Man gave the gate a kick in which the gate broke (keep in mind, the gate was thick and has a durability of 4 fir (tree) trunks and yes the gate was told to be VERY strong, this was told by the people that were alive when Yip Man was alive and with him) Imagine prime Yip Man doing a full on ass side kick 💀

Watching this reminds me of one of my grandpas. He wasn't a martial artist and technically wasn't even my blood grandpa. He was my mom's stepdad and the only grandpa I knew. He was a Native American and fairly well known in many Native circles nationwide. He wrote several books talking about his years as a treasure hunter and preservationist of native relics. He would use his knowledge of how they would leave markers in nature that would go unnoticed to the untrained eye, and find sacred sites and native, "treasures," which would sometimes just be pottery or simple jewelry, and then get the site legally preserved to never be touched or dug. I watched him decline so rapidly when he got brain cancer, but before that, even as an old man, he was a force to be reckoned with. He grew up practicing traditional native grappling and wrestling, and even in his 60s, would get out in the yard and spar my two uncles who were both Judo practitioners, and mop the floor with them. He was just so much stronger than them, that they couldn't budge him. I remember them doing this traditional native type of wrestling, something similar to sumo wrestling, and trying to push each other out of a circle. Both at the same time couldn't budge my grandpa. Damn I miss that old man

But we aren’t the type to start fights. It’s a pragmatic style that encompasses many forms from FUTIAN CHINA where the HAKANESE PEOPLE moved about and shared ideas. They sought refuge and work with the #redboatopera and traveled the mainland. #pakmei Kung fu and #mantiskungfu are used there a lot. Ipman was a force to be reckoned with but I'm sorry my love came from Bruce lee the way he was intensity with his movement when he had the numbchucks but he realized wings chun wasn't for him but he did keep some of the move he learned from ipman but Bruce didnt really like the style burt then focused more on kung fu Chinese boxing and then made his own style of jeet kune doe. The guy was a living definition of muscle building and training too hard this dude could kick a 180lb punching bag across the wall. Two finger push up one finger push up hundreds of them. The dude commitment was unreal and still isn't touch to this day. Jackee chan will tell you jet li they all show love for Bruce and call him a master.

It was during the cultural revolution. And yes in Mainland (Guangzhou) he was doing practcing Wing Chun during the Japanese invasion. And of course, he did have his sons, taught Bruce Lee, his wife passed away early on etc. But majority of the rest of the storyline was made up
