In this video I wanted to share my experience with the ipad 6 because when I was looking for artists using this ipad I could only find like 3 videos and those people only used this ipad like only once to make a review and then never again! So I hope that this video can be helpful to the ones that are interested in buying this ipad for digital art!
It took me so long to save money to buy it! Even if it's not the pro model that everyone have it's still very good for digital art! I use it everyday and I'm happy with it! If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments and I will reply!

@@cr1na91 I can't help you convince your dad... But if he is hesitant to buy the pro because of the price then 7th gen is also very good. Only disadvantage will the no. Of layers on procreate. But I can tell you it's worth it. The drawing experience is just amazing.

Anche io ho visto tante persone lamentarsi del "gap" tra il vetro e lo schermo, ma non credo che sia un grandissimo problema dato lo scopo per il quale è stato creato: studiare e prendere appunti! Ma è anche ottimo per disegnare! Vorrei comprarlo proprio perché mi servirebbe per la scuola e successivamente per l'università. Inoltre, ultimamente mi sto avvicinando sempre di più al disegno: è un ottimo modo per rilassarmi dopo delle giornate stressanti e prima di andare a dormire, quindi lo sfrutterei anche per migliorare i miei disegnini, ahahah. Di conseguenza è perfetto per me visto il prezzo che ha e l'utilizzo che ne farei. :)

Yes, that’s a very bad side of procreate! I personally don’t make many layers but even in my case I find it restrictive sometimes! Going over 300 dpi it’s almost impossible! Of course the ipad 6 has only 2gb of ram compared to an iPad Pro that has 4gb + so you can make less layers here! I can still produce good work on it! At the end it totally depends on the way you work and what kind of things you want to do! If you have to work with very big files wouldn’t recommend!There are other apps that don’t have such limitations like clip studio paint!

Mine crashes when using autodesk 2018. It happens when I have more than 2 layers open. Whereas in the iPad Pro 9.7 2016 it doesn’t happen (my friend has that one) Do you use many layers on the art apps?

Oh yes of you plan to use procreate only it's okay! After 7 months of usage I only recently got to 32 GB! And I use many other things on it! (I have the 128 btw)

I'm planning on buying the 32 GB version aswell, I have a phone with 128 gb and 72 GB are free and I have 12k photos and a ton of apps on it so I assume it's fine to use it just with procreate and maybe a few other apps until it's full and then transfer your pics through itunes via USB on your computer

I'm pretty sure you're not gonna see this but, what do you mean by "mat screen protector"? Like do you mean just a regular cheap plastic one or should I search for something specific? Edit: thanks for the review by the way, I really wanna get this because of the pencil's affordability now.

You need to get a good one because sometimes cheap matte/anti-reflection screen protectors gets scratched very easily. I just bought one from Amazon and it's slightly textured like 'paper like' ( a brand of screen protectors), but it was cheaper. Just read the reviews in order to know if it's good! I can't remember what brand mine is! 😣

It reduces the sharpness a tiny bit but It's not so dramatic that makes it difficult to read! It is barely noticeable! I read on my iPad and I have no problems with it!

The one I used in this video doesn’t exist anymore, but recently I’ve been using one by a Japanese brand BANNIO. I bought it on Amazon! It’s good. It’s not as textured as the one in this video, but it’s nice and resistant and doesn’t get scratches unlike the one by Paperlike that wasn’t good at all!

Sadly using a different pencil causes a lot of lag. I’d recommend investing 30$ more and getting an apple pencil

I’d recommend investing in the original apple pencil because all off brand pencils I got to try caused lags and didn’t function correctly with the ipad

Yes procreate looks the same on every iPad it has layers here too! Compared to an iPad pro you are not able to do as many, but it's not a big difference. It's because to optimize its performances it makes you do less things depending on how powerful the device is! Over all you can't work on procreate with very high resolution files even on the pro version.
