I looked at many Touch Screen monitors but most are made for POS (Point of Sale) systems and have terrible colours or really low resolutions. I Found one from Dell which wasn't horribly priced but was a big commitment to the idea, but then I realised 1st Gen iPad Pro's have dropped a lot in price!

Beautiful Shepherd, they are best dogs in the world. I raised several litters and had many, just lost my last one a couple yrs ago. I've had two die from a problem they get when they lap water hard and air which bloats their stomach and actually the stomach flips over pinching the blood vessels off. So if you ever see one bloated and acting funny you only have a real short time before they can't do anything. Vet said it helps to elevate their water so their neck is more level. You can capture it for OBS, however it'll only be the Computer dual screen screen, not your iPads iOS screen that can be shared. Duet only extends your computer desktop to a second monitor :)

Haha probably not if you're targeted. You can click on most ads and say "I'm not interested" to stop seeing them. I got ads for the Oculus Quest, bought it, and still get them 😂

Good eye Ben! To be honest I never noticed that the res was lower than the full capabilities of the iPad Pro, it must be a bandwidth limitation or something as it is capped at the 2048x1536. Which is sharp, and any higher you'd for sure need window scaling as the taskbar is tiny already haha. But yeah not able to run at 100% native iPad resolution

There's the "Uperfect" screens, IPS, HDMI there's a few reviews on youtube, those are pretty good and really cheap in comparison to ths iPads, which you have to use that app which introduces even more delay, I don't see how this has more value than any of those decent screens that can be found for $100 something dollars, there's even a few 1440p IPS panels around. But for someone that has an iPad, pretty good use.

Honestly I'd love to tell you if it can or can't, however I'm still in the process of learning blender, and also haven't purchased the tier of Duet which lets the Apple Pencil provide input (I just use it as a second display). Hopefully someone else can weigh in on whether or not they can do that, otherwise I might be able to get back to you on if it can or can't but won't be very soon haha. Really good question though, as I see how great having that control over a mesh would be.

There is lag, but it varies on if you have it in Performance or quality mode, also depends on the resolution of your iPad. My Pro is very high, almost 4K res from memory, so driving that on quality mode had noticeable input lag. But it's still plenty good for having things on the side, which is what I mainly use it for.

Hey Jamie, I have a Z390 Chipset board and have had hits and misses with prolonged charging. There are "battery saving" options in duet for the config, and I believe when it was on the less power hungry mode it got some juice. However I do battle more often than not with getting apple to accept the charge cable I use (official lightning that shipped with it) and that will also block charging. So maybe check if you're using an official apple cable and if the settings on the duet app are on performance or power saver, and obs brightness of iPad.

Hey Celine, I just used the normal USB - Lightning cable from the box. If you've got a modern PC what only has USB-C you'll need a dongle or to buy a USB-C - Lightning cable. Good luck ✌

As long as you signed in on the same Apple ID that you purchased the app, you are good. If you want to use it on Android and PC then you have to pay for it on Android most likely. It is a one time purchase just to use it wired, but for wirelessly you pay $20 a year, and to use the Apple Pencil to draw, you pay $30 a year

It should act just like a normal 2nd screen, so you can drag the window across to the iPad from the left or right (usually right) side of your main monitor

It's seems some people got really big problem with duet display, wich make the computer unusable with annoying mini freeze and for some making games not launchable, I dont know why any of the youtuber that touch on the log didnt talk/ or had any problem with it

I've honestly never had an issue, however if I was to think about that it may be due to the users graphics card or lack of. An iPad is a very high resolution screen, usually higher than most laptops built in. I have an i7 9700K and RTX 2070 8GB so it would have no problem driving that second display, but if I had a laptop or computer with only integrated graphics then I could see it having some issues. Have you ran into something in particular? If I have problems I tend to mention them in videos, but yeah mine works how I want when I go to use it.

I tried 2 times over the years and I had all the problem you are talking about. Also, every time windows is loading appears the software keyboard (i found no way to fix it even uninstalling), so I asked for a refound and I had to format my ssd and do a clean installation of Windows.

If I get duet premier is that possible? And the audience will just see what I draw and not my hand? Also I am wanting to set up a teleprompter. I LOVE Caddy Buddy for my DSL, it is such high quality for such an awesome price ($160) Created by a film professional years ago when he saw that the only teleprompters out there were way overpriced. Hi Amanda, hmm good question, I think that you would be able to capture the screen of the iPad as a native "second Screen" of the computer whilst using Duet premier. Your other option is to use the iPad natively then share it's screen to a PC using some AirPlay software, this would mean you use your iPad as normal with it's drawing apps. I'm a little confused about the two screens, if you're talking about looking at people directly on a video feed, then you could use your normal computer screen for that, then it sounds like you need 2 other screens, as one for the iPad drawing and one for a teleprompter feed?

Ugh, I have Duet Display, and it has been very problematic connecting to the second display. Plus, it is super laggy when it does connect. I am using a brand new Lenovo X1 ThinkPad, with an i7 processor and 16GB RAM with an iPad Pro, so I know my hardware is not the issue. Anyone have a better solution? I am tired of messing with this sub-par app.

The iPad is the 1st Gen iPad Pro 12.9" from 2015, in a STM DUX Plus folio case (chose it as it has the Apple pencil holder, and stands up)

This makes it a second screen, Allows you to put anything on it as you would for a norman dual monitor setup. You can't get Ableton, Photoshop, Stream labs, Voicemeter all natively on the iPad? Well photoshop kinda just released but rest of Adobe suite won't work natively? Sure Spotify, Trello, Word, some things will work but by serving as a dual screen it's pretty useful for a lot of stuff which won't, but also being able to use your mouse to drag something accross when needed it's very useful (like any dual monitor setup).

Hey Dude, it's called Skater XL, it's in Beta on PC at the moment, and full release is early July 2020 on all platforms (including Switch) super stoked with it, builds ontop of Skate 3 mechanics with using analogue sticks, however Skater XL uses left stick for left foot, and right for right, so is really intuitive if you're a skater. Does the wired version on the lowest latency setting have much latency at all?

There is a little bit when I run it at Max Resolution (2048 x 1536 on mu 1st Gen 12.9" iPad Pro) however if I bump it to high performance or the resolution down it honestly looks the same as my normal monitor. But if it's wireless there'll no doubt be a lot of lag, but I haven't paid to unlock that feature.

Depends on many variables, there's quality mode or performance, performance will try and keep low latency and 60hz however the graphics will be hindered. Then quality will be a little lag but run at the almost 4K resolution of the iPad pro. Granted that is wired direct to PC, they have a pro version of the app which is wireless over wifi but I'd say that will have lag for sure

No device, you just plug it in with your normal charge cable 👍 with the windows 10 duet app installed the PC will pickup the iPad as a screen once you launch the duet iOS app

Depends on your computers USB Ports and iPad model. Some of mine the iPad pro would slowly discharge after a few hours use, others with official cable would keep it charged with use.

So you installed the Duet app on Windows? And then opened it on the iPad once you were plugged in? Have you got another usb port on your PC to try?

Yep, I try another port, try USB ports in mother board - nothing. Maybe I need some drivers for that?

And that again me, and I solved my problem. The problem in the driver, (i was right) I found this driver in root folder named DuetDisplay. Here I found .exe file named DuetUSBDriverLoader, and, in device manager, I update driver on my display device. And this work good! Thanks for moral help!

Yeah that would be pretty awesome. I had a tablet form factor pc on win 10 back in 2015, was kinda before 2in1 running full windows was popular. No crazy 144hz screen though haha. Won't be long dude, phones are higher refresh rates so everything soon will be

A few years have passed and newer Microsoft Surface Tablets & Laptops seemingly now support 120Hz and even dynamic refresh rates, so you could do it directly. Albeit that wouldn't help if you wanted both iOS and Windows.
