Something else to mention about the mini: you mentioned the display being laminated, but it also has true tone like the pricier ones, and something that wasn't mentioned at all is that the mini has the highest pixel density on its display of any of the ipads, so it's actually the clearest picture at the smallest display size, 326 ppi vs 264 on every other ipad model. I have a mini 5 and I really, really love it.

Augh, I was hoping my beloved Mini wasn't going to be an afterthought. :( I run my entire proofreading business on my iPad Mini. No one has managed to convince me that the bigger iPads can do anything more than what my Mini can do for my needs (I get that the Pros are faster for graphic design and video work, plus gaming). I love the portable format and that it is so lightweight for reading on all day. I combine my Mini with an iPhone XR for extra screen space if I want to compare documents. I think that more people need to know that the Mini is a powerful device built for productivity, not just an ebook reader. I'm on my second on. With the first gen Pencil support, I'm not just annotating PDFs effectively, but also digital planning, managing my Airtable bases, working in Zoho sheets, and more. I love the new Scribble feature that came with iOS 14 and have met people who thought that the Mini doesn't get updates like that!

@@shuuuuushhshs2698 Well, that's kind of rude imo. I can't exactly ask someone to give me something I want for free just because it's Christmas. If I really want something, I would mostly ask my mom or dad for it. When a relative/friend gifts me something, it's up to them what they want to give, not me. So instead of them giving a gift that is totally unnecessary to me, I'd rather them have at least some clue as to what I want.

I own the iPad Pro 11” 2020 with 256GB. It’s really an astonishing device. What’s worth mentioning is that the 2020 iPad Pro have 6 GB RAM on every screen size and storage capacity compared to the iPad Air 4 (and iPad Pro 2018) having 4 GB of RAM. For most people it isn’t a dealbreaker. iPadOS is very efficient just like iOS on iPhone. Therefore Apple devices don’t require a large amount of RAM compared to Android devices. But for me, it’s a blissful experience to work with the iPad Pro. Great video. Kind regards, Emiel333.

The iPad Pro 12.9 is in a league of its own. The one suggestion I’d make to these reviewers is to speak about the many different use cases, not just as it pertains to chip performance or camera. For example, I have completely replaced the use of my laptop with my iPad Pro 12.9 and Magic Keyboard. I need it for general web apps, Keynote, Google Docs (a few apps to run a business) and then it turns into a creativity beast. I sing and can immediately record a tune, scribble down some notes to a song, jump into GarageBand (which is so incredibly underrated) record, all on this relatively small fan less device. Then I pass on to a producer who has more of a professional workflow. It has actually been really fun not having to use a laptop anymore. There’s just nothing like the versatility of what the iPad Pro offers me.

Yeah I’m using the same model but I think it’s still quite a ways off until Apple adds 120Hz to the new iPad Air / any other iPad other than the Pro model, and I don’t want to give up my 120Hz on my 10.5” Pro. Also I happen to think Face ID works MUCH better on tablets and laptops than on iPhones, as you simply open the lid of your iPad Magic Keyboard / laptop lid and it unlocks.

In other words if u can pay extra from the budget ipad get the air if u have enough money like u really dont mind spending alot get the pro but if u want a mini ipad DONT buy it, its getting a refresh so yuh i think waiting is best thankk youu for reading AMAZINGGGG video, very in-depth just a chef's kiss

You miss the usp of the portability of the mini. Working on location I often don't have space to put down a laptop, when so I take notes on a mini - the standard iPad is simply too heavy to hold in one hand and type with the other for multiple times per day and up to 1 hour each time - your hand will turn into a claw! I agree it's time for a refresh though - not because it's too slow, but simply because it could do with a bit more screen real-estate and then the keyboard would be a bit bigger - my typing might improve then :)

Regarding the iPad mini, one key advantage of the size and portability that your viewers may like to know about concerns photography. I still use my second gen iPad mini as an external view finder with my Sony mirrorless camera and it is so much better than the tiny back display on these cameras. Wireless connectivity between the iPad and the camera and the "bigger" screen on the iPad make composing the image a much more enjoyable experience than trying to see anything from the tiny viewfinder or from the back display. Can't go out on a photo safari now without my iPad mini. Yes, smartphone has big screens now and can serve as an external viewfinder also, but from my experience, nothing beats the iPad mini for portability and the perfect size of the screen to compose a photo.

I was gonna purchase ipad air 4 .....but thanks to god and i made my right decision and bought pro 11" . And it beats all the ipads and even iphones and more even ipad air which comes with a14 bionic chip because ipad pro has 8 cores which is way better than ipad air 6 cores. Ipad air is also a beast gadget to buy as i used it for 1 week and the performance was op,but when comes to comparing (pro vs air) .. Pro is unbeatable and can gives you the best smooth performance even for upcoming 5 year

I’ve never had an iPad before, so I went big and bold, the biggest screen, the biggest memory, and the biggest price (wince). Just waiting for my pencil. Very excited. Really tempted by the magic keyboard but it seems realllllly expensive.

If you're looking for an iPad Pro, say the iPad Pro 12.9, to serve as a laptop replacement, the following applies: buy an iPad Air 4 instead, the USD 850 difference to an iPad Pro 12.9 (256 GB storage) and Magic keyboard almost nets you enough cash for an M1 macBook Air in addition 🥳

I adore my 2017 iPad Pro and that’s what I’m currently using, however, it’s starting to show age with battery life 🤷‍♀️. I am excited to see what they change on the mini, I would love a mini built like the air 4. But I use my mini a lot

I tried the androids and they age far to quickly. I just changed out my air 1 now for the 8. Think I should have gone for the new air but the 8 is great 😉. I only ever use it in a hotspot are so a LTE version is useless. Not a power user but I use it for presentations from Time to time and mostly Netflix, KZbin and email

After getting the M1 MacBook Pro 13” I’m selling my 12.9 iPad Pro and have bought the 11” as the 12.9 is too close to the MBP 13”. So far loving the lightness of the 11” but does seem tiny after using the 12.9 for the past 10 months.

I have the s7+ and iPad Air 3 not 4. I prefer the s7+ screen and 120hz and less locked in feel of the OS. The iPad is still very good for snappy browsing but a step below. The speakers finally are better on the S7+ also.

Currently in the market for a new iPad. We currently have an iPad Mini Gen. 2 with 32 gig. What's great with the Mini, it's a great size for popping it on the window sill while doing dishes and watching videos in the bed with one of those tablet holders that go around your neck. I was thinking of upsizing to larger iPad for more storage and better performance. We went to an electronics store over the weekend and was just confused over the different models of iPad. Thanks for the video. Will probably pick up the Air 256 gig version for Father's Day!

Well, the best depend in what you uses it. A friend saved money for a year and half to buy the iPad Pro 12.9 and second gen pencil because she works in art and she needs a bigger screen. That iPad never get out of her house because she scared someone rob her! If you only use internet to watch videos or read novel, a normal iPad or an iPad air are more than enough!
