Any thermal problem? How’s the battery life?

I upgraded to the Mini 7. Same issues as Mini 6. Wasted space on Home Screen, jelly scrolling, poor display, weak wifi (compared to my Z Flip 6), and many apps not optimized for the form factor. Better battery life, but that’s not saying much. The only things working for it: form factor and no more 64gb. Lazy upgrade from Apple.

@@Dad_Brad I loved my iPad Mini 6 but sold it recently because I thought it was too small. I miss it because it’s so good. The things apple upgraded cpu , ram and storage wasn’t a problem with the 6. The biggest problem like Jacob said was the jelly scrolling, Home Screen , display and connection issues. I like everyone else was hoping for at least abetter screen. Apple do be lazy

A $499 tablet has weaker Wi-Fi than a $1099 phone? Come on dude at least be fair to Apple here. It's a niche product and they're not going to put pro features in their second cheapest tablet. Also jelly scroll has been improved a lot.

That A17 PRO chip can hardware decode AV1 videos. Even M2 can’t do it. So when you grab these 4K AV1 videos off of youtube, you can just play them very smoothly on this iPad.

Don’t man, buy cheap android tablets. Once you get in the apple ecosystem it’s hard to get out. It’s a trap
