Ahhh bummer. I already own a 12.9" Pro and was looking forward for the mini since some games look blurry on the pro, but I’m almost 100% sure no developer is going to bother to adapt their games for the Mini display if they haven’t even bothered to adapt them for the Pro’s.

Gamevice used to make one for the old iPads (and iPhones) but they got bought out by Razer and made the Razer Kishi for phones, maybe they’ll make one for this, would definitely be a good idea!

Razer or someone should make a wrap around controller for this like the Kishi for iPhones, Apple should even partner with Razer and sell the controller with iPad as a bundle. Along with the Steam Deck, would create a competitive, diverse market against the Nintendo Switch for handheld gaming!

The only thing holding back the iPad mini is 60hz display.. I have been using 60hz ever since I started using smartphones and I would like if am ever buying another device I would like to test out 90hz or 120hz .. iPad mini is everything I wanted not too small and not too big but not having 90hz screen is holding it back

to be honest i think the form factor of the mini is the best for mobile gaming, it's a shame it doesn't come with 120hz pro motion. Maybe ipad mini pro will be dropped in the future.

@@adityakrishnamalhotra1 I own a 12.9inch and I honestly believe games are unplayable on it (using touch screen) it’s just too big and unwieldy and even as someone who has relatively large hands the controls are still a struggle to reach in places.gaming on the 12.9 pro is a great experience but it requires games that support controllers, in my opinion. The 11 inch pro is much more manageable for gaming but still not ideal. I truly believe the mini is the best gaming device in the lineup

If you are looking for an iPad for gaming I’d say the iPad Mini is probably absolutely the best bet especially if you want to use touch screen controls as its is the perfect size for gaming and has enough power to run games well

Written: October 6, 2021 Crazy how people thought iPhones were less powerful CPU/GPU wise than PS1 but fast forward 14 years and theirs 12 AAA PS4 plus 35 AAA prior console generations games on iPad. Seriously who imagined full fledged PS4 games like Xcom 2, Divinity 2 or Civilization 6 playing on iPad. Divinity 2 shows what developers can achieve graphically on 4GB ram devices..with no compromises from developers words(Divinity 2 is 18gbs vs Xcom 2 at 8.5gbs so D:OS2 is beautiful)

The Pathless is a PlayStation 5 game, so to me it seems logical that it’s locked to 30 fps. Don’t expect that any iPad can run this on 60 fps flawlessly.
