I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max (120Hz) and an iPad mini (60Hz) and I never see any difference between the two, the only way one would prob see the difference is if you’re really looking for it, but since I am not looking for it it’s all a smooth working experience between the 2 devices.

Yeah, but I think batteries these days are designed with the higher refresh rate in mind, though. A lot of the time a charger is available to people throughout the day as well, even at work at your desk if that's the kind of job you have, so I imagine maintaining battery isn't a big deal. Ive used 144hz and above on my PC since 2015 and let me tell you, nobody buys it for the scrolling in windows. Desktop remains 60hz and only ingame it switches to higher. Video content is not above 60fps. To use it for phone scrolling and waste the battery is impractical.
