I'm upgrading from a 12PM to 16PM. Initially I thought I'd go for the 16 plus but, after comparing the specs and pricing (for 256gb) it was only $200 different. From the perspective of a 4 year upgrade cycle just $50 a year extra for the 16PM seemed like a no-brainer.

All of the iPhone side rails are painted, the natural titanium is no exception, as you noticed it's painted darker. Only the white titanium is closest to what the titanium underneath looks like funnily enough

Nice choice bro, I went with the white 15PM and it was the best as it really does stand out in the sea of black and grey phones. Especially where I'm at in Asia where it costs a few months salary and is an luxury item essentially. Would want it to stand out for what I paid right hehe. And the camera is striking like panda eyes. So even when you put it in a non transparent case, it stands out and I had some people looking at the phone lmao. #proud #bedifferent One thing tho, the gold/ desert titanium does look classy like a gold jewelry tho..... both are my top pics over boring black or natural titanium.

I got my phone today and its not gold 😅 it’s more of like a cream rose colour looks similar to the flip 4 cream colour with tint of rose . That desert colour is just not it. Natural titanium or black is the way to go. I already had a white xr so yeah.

I preordered the iPhone 16 pro 1TB in Natural Titanium. I can't wait for it to come in the mail! I used to always get the max but this year i wanted the pro instead because i do have small hands, cases are a little cheaper compared to the max and apparently this year's pro size for the iPhone is bigger than previous models which is nice.

iPhone 12 Pro Max user here… I was wanting to upgrade this year and was desperately hoping that the iPhone 16 Pro Max would be a worthwhile upgrade. I still can’t justify the $2149 (AUD) expense even though my phones battery is getting average. I’d rather wait another year and hope for a redesign or something that actually feels like a new phone.

I almost switched from the 14 pro, for the 16 because of the ultramarine color and the fact that its almost as good as the pro, but then I thought about the 60 hertz display and I couldn't. Ended up purchasing the 16 pro max today in natural titanium, because I had the gold 14 pro and desert titanium was TOO similar to the gold 14 pro, and also because the black and white options don't exist in my head, I can't do either of those colors.

Colours are always fascinating, but I noticed myself that the colour turned out to be a bit irrelevant, because I then put a protective cover on it and now I don't see the colour any more! So the colour of the sleeve is perhaps even more important. Have fun with all your experimentation.

There’s no paint! All of these are finished with a process called anodizing. I do this professionally for medical components and I’ve now done aluminum and titanium finishing process for over 3 years. Aluminum gets anodized and then gets its color from being dipped in various dyes. Aluminum can be anodized almost any color under the sun. Titanium gets color during the anodizing process and while it has a wide range of colors it’s feels way more limiting on getting an aesthetically pleasing color in comparison to aluminum.

I would think the Pro series, with those upgraded mics and 48MP UltraWide camera would still appeal to a content creator. ProMotion display is probably the biggest pull to the Pro series for all the "regular" consumers that just want the Pro series phone.

❤ Hi, Luke, I tried (and returned) 15 plus to upgrade from my 12 pro. I felt I needed a bigger display. I’ve chosen Teal. I’ll let you know on that. Buying thru Amazon as I had a little credit and I can get cash back on my credit card and returns are sooo easy. Let’s hope they’ve got some or I might change my order to a Pro (not max) as the new icons without text really work for me.
