I've been waiting to buy an iPhone since the iPhone 15 Pro Max was launched. I told myself I would only buy an iPhone when they changed the design, like introducing a flip model or some other significant change. Every year, I've been disappointed because there hasn't been any major design shift. I don't plan to buy the iPhone 16 now, as it looks the same as previous models. It looks like I'll need to wait another year and see what the iPhone 17 offers; hopefully, there will be a new design.

I use the 15 pro and have been charging my phone to 80% only. I think that 80% charge on the 15 pro is right at the limit of being enough without worrying. A full charge will last a day without any hesitation. Hopefully the 16 pro has even better efficiency

2:35 As a company that reserves its new features for its Pro model in the maiden year & trickles it down to the non Pro model the next year, I think the Camera button, for this year, could have been reserved for the Pro lineup. It is indeed a bit Pro level thing for a smartphone to have a dedicated Camera button with so many functionalities hidden inside it & it could have been a distinctive feature to separate the Pro from the non-Pro models. Non-Pro already got that Action button this year.. it was enough for that. If anything, Apple should have given 120Hz to 16 & 16Plus while upgrading 16Pro & 16Pro Max to 144Hz. They messed up.

It looks I'll be using my 14 PM one more year. It's not about money, but the feeling of actually having new phone in your hands. Most of these new features are cool, but I don't think I'd use them often. Like those audio profiles while video recording. Or camera button (looks cool, but how useful it really is?). Plus, by the time AI features are incorporated and polished, it will be 17 series time.

A quick example is the latest Pixel 9 Pro XL which already comes with all the artificial intelligence of GEMINI (and owned by Google itself) and 16 GB of RAM, and another is the S24 Ultra, etc. This latest iPhone 16 Pro is a disappointment, I really expected more from Apple. Oh, but to charge high prices for little or no innovation, they are the world leaders.

Neither the iPhone 16 Pro, nor the 16 Pro Max received the larger sensor in the main camera, the 1/1.14 inches sensor size instead of 1/1,28" ❗ Why?
