The lock button should have had that like with older phones. Doubles as finger print so touch ID and also swype up and down to bring down and up the notification centre. They also should make the action button do two more things. Single and double click for two different actions as its only currently hold. So they should do what they've done with the lock button. Single for lock, double for apple wallet and hold for siri. Action button should also add a couple of extra actions

@@VynZography they won't. It'll just have the capture button doing swype gestures to zoom. But to me, the lock button having touch ID or the action button doing two more actions would be way more useful than swyping to zoom. I'm all in for the capture button, but the action button shouldn't be limited to one action, when the lock button can do 3

I think they have it that high up, because it's easier to reach on the thumb, when the phone is on portrait. Vertically. The middle finger will probably be the best one to use, instead of index, to use the shutter button, when the phone is places horizontally
