Ehhh personal preference at the end of the day. Majority have cutouts and I’ll rather use a great case with a cutout than a “ok” case with a button.

Just be like me. Take what you can get with the button and wait patiently for other case manufacturers to include buttons on the case. I’m rocking the Spigen Hybrid T for the time being. I also love the color of my Natural Titanium so I like the clear case for that reason while I wait.

Agreed. Covered button is always preferable. What possible reason would you not want the button covered? And it's not like the covered button cases are inferior quality. For each brand that makes them they're the exact same cases, one just has a cutout and one doesn't. But for me, even if a case manufacturer made their covered button cases inferior quality for some odd reason, I'd still take complete coverage over slightly higher quality. In the end it's still just a cheap plastic case and I don't want a big cutout that's a dirt and grime magnet, constantly exposing part of my phone.

I honestly prefer it without. I’m using the apple silicon case and I keep activating my camera because of how I hold my phone

I’m glad that I’m due a new phone in April, and not now. Hopefully Phone Rebel and the other elite case brands can have the camera control button in place by then. I would prefer to avoid having a cutout on the side of the phone if I can. But I still want a premium case.

Mine hasn’t shipped yet- but I like the idea of the flush buttons. Will have to see it in hand, but I know where the buttons are so seems like it may just make for a cleaner case. Side note- any plans to review the MagBack Elite case? It’s what I’ve been running the last few days, and some of the features really set it apart. Nothing else like it out there.

That open camera button is a problem. They need to figure out a way to close that up like Apple cases. Dirt and grim can easily build up in there.

Last year buttons are interchangeable with Gen6. Do the new buttons themselves have lower profile or the protection on the sides is thicker or both?

Don't need to buy an Apple case. Spigen (and a couple other brands) has these frosted/clear cases with a covered camera button AND raised corner feet on the back. Love your channel though Tee!

Pretty sure the Gen 5 buttons will fit the Gen 6 cases, so you can pop in the buttons you like from the iPhone 15 cases.

Got this and the Paragon in the mail today. I didn't even put the Rebel on the phone. The grips on the side are non existent. It's so strange. I mean they are there. But there's just no grip to speak of. So slick. The lack of the feet on the back is a bummer as well. The Gen 5 was on my 15 Pro Max for basically the entire time I had the phone. The grips look identical in the marketing. Not even kind of close. Oh well. The Paragon has some nice texture on the side, though. Gonna run it for a few days and see what I think.

Yeah I don't understand the hate toward the Flex. I LOVED the clear Flex on my 14 Pro. I've moved to Suti's PhoneBacks for my "minimal" uh "cases" with the 16 Pro. Not as much protection, but I rarely drop my phone and just want a little bit of grip while still feeling minimal and they're perfect. People don't buy minimal cases for protection. Get over it. haha Regarding the Gen 6, I'm super bummed about those buttons. I loved their buttons on the iPhone 14 Pro version but these look super uninspiring and meh. Probably will be passing on this one unfortunately!

One thing I love about Otterbox Lumen, is that while it was partnered with apple to get that sapphire crystal button on the case, its EVER SO SLIGHTLY recessed into the side of the case, so it isn't perfectly flush like the apple silicone case it. It's perfect

@@AznPrzsn some people are bothered by it because that would mean debris can get between the case/buttons and the phone. That could also mean the buttons could potentially scratch against the phone. Right now I switched to my Caudabe Sheath case & there is NO rattling what so ever. It’s just something for people to keep in mind about the frosted series this year. I’ve been a customer of phone rebel since the beginning. I’ll continue to buy from them, it’s just something to keep in mind for case enthusiasts

I hate this case as the tpu sides after a while especially near the buttons do a curve shape ( ) and after another while the whole side disconnect from the hard back. They replaced it for me two times and still the same issue. No more of this useless case. Only strong magnets and that is it. Tee I always follow your recommendations with cases but please for this one or at least the top 3 make a long-term review for them as some of them never holds that much and for me I got the Phone rebel back for my iPhone 13 pro in 2021 and in 6 months for the 3 replacements the same problem happen.

I have the Benks. They really rushed the 16 Pro series of cases this time around. They removed the metal buttons for raised silicone buttons, and the camera cutout is nice and protected, but the part of the lip of the case where the camera cutout is located is quite loose. I was planning on getting the Phone Rebel Gen 6 Aramid Fiber but it hasn't even been announced when it will be released.

My grippiest case is my pitaka pro and I have heard some people say it’s slippery I don’t understand that but I’ve come to realize after buying hundreds of cases over the years that I really have to be the one that determines whether a case is grippy or not.
