Still undecided re which model to upgrade to. Looking at 15 Pro/Pro Max, 16 regular (not Plus) or 16 Pro/Pro Max. Waiting to see if we get a new iPad Mini and what upgrades it has. Then I'll decide. Thanks for the content.

The refresh rate doesn’t bother me. It’s the lack of always on display. If it had that I’d definitely get the regular model.

Do you have any trouble using Audio Mix while connected to bluetooth earbuds? I found that I can only use Audio Mix feature while on phone speaker. When on earbuds, it will just freeze while switching to In Frame or other modes.

It is pro enough I know a lot of people talk about the 60hrz refresh rate. But honestly the 60hrz refresh rate doesn’t bother me. I have the iPhone 16 plus in black with 256gb and I’m more than happy with it.

The 16 is my run it into the ground phone. I will not be upgrading it until I can’t revive security updates. That is the only thing that will get me to upgrade. So considering how long iOS currently supports security updates, not feature updates, but security updates, I’ll see everyone on the iPhone 26 with a pathetic 120htz display instead of the objectively superior 420htx displays and cameras that while may have looked good to you for the past few decades, have been hiding a dirty little secret that they are in fact less than 2mp and won’t be replacing real cameras anytime soon

Agreed. Very close to pro. The only reason I would never buy one is the 60hz screen. I’ll pay the difference. 60hz does not belong on a phone even as this price point. However Apple knows that…

Am I the only one who can't perceive the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz on a phone? In video games I can easily tell the difference. But on a phone? Most videos are 30 fps and when I'm just scrolling Instagram or texting on Whatsapp, I honestly don't see how 120 Hz improves the experience in any way. FWIW I recently upgraded from a Pixel 4a to a Pixel 8 so I know what a 120Hz phone display feels like. And when I hold the phones side by side, I still can't tell the difference in refresh rate.

I have the iPhone 16 plus I don’t have a problem with the 60 he’s refresh rate because apple products always has a way to still make scrolling smoothly.

@@FlyDre-g9h Though IOS is indeed smooth, there's a very, i mean very noticeable difference between 60hz and the 120Hz. You'll only know when you use the 120hz and then go back to 60hz
