Nice review Lisa, I have the iPhone 6 I got it yesterday I love it. It's very fast, and it may not have to top specks for everyone but to me it's a very darn good screen.

I relied heavily on Lisa's above review to make my choice. I bought the I-Phone 6. I eliminated all but two models, the Samsung Note 4 and the I-Phone 6. I considered the I-Phone 6 +, but it just did not feel right for me. And I just did not want to spend the time to learn a new OS nor did I think the writing capabilities fit my life style. I love my I-Phone 6. The display is perfect, the camera is really nice. It does not seem as big as a frisbee, and even though I have small to medium size hands I have not had to change my input style. Thank you Lisa and Apple.

as a former windows phone user and a current android user I was always a little envy of the nice look of the iphones but this time I am so happy with my current one when I see the new iphone. I feel kind of sad how apple is slowly losing his style since the competition always had to chase behind in terms of design and looks. I hope the evolution goes in the direction of the samsung galaxy edge. Having no borders and hardware buttons seems to be the future design and I approve it. The one thing that is glaringly obvious about this phone is the camera. I had the Lumia Icon prior to the iPhone 6 and they aren't even in the same conversation. The low light capture for the iPhone is very disappointing. Maybe I got use to the Icon but I may consider carrying a point and shoot again. Using the flash is a must now for close shots. Landscape shots in low light like an evening performance at a concert or opera, forget it!

There is no doubt the phone is well crafted however I believe Apple made a major mistake with the battery. For the sake of a couple of millimetres in thickness they could have addressed the major complaint of most users and put in a larger battery. The concept of 'heavy' users of smartphones is now becoming the norm. The devices are being used for a greater range of functions and applications are making greater use of location services, sharing, eye candy etc. Add to this the emerging stories of 'bending' iPhones (particularly the 6plus), then I think it is definitely a case of 'form over function'.

One of the best reviews I have seen on the web.rightly so you didn't deal with this nonsense about it bending.....yes if you want to bend any phone there are ways to bend or break it...even the Nokia bricks of yesteryear. Want I would like to hear from you is what mobile phone would you say is the leader when it comes to 4.7 phones...is it the iPhone 6 or something else. Why I would like to know this is because I will be 60 in a months time and my wife wants to buy me a new phone...at the moment my daily driver is the iPhone 4s but what would you recommend? Thanks

Apple got the width of the screen right , but horrible length. Hate the 16:9 ratio on phones. If it was 4.3-4.5 inch screen with 4:3 ratio (close to golden ratio) that would have been great.

That's CRAZY expensive for a subsidized device... More of the same (including obvious Android copying) imo but all-around decent phone if you're into Apple. (Having all those icons on a single screen is a major eyesore and design overload for me.) I'm awaiting the 2014 Moto X; the '13 version is amazing.

Yeah, the Moto X 2014 version makes me tingle in my pants. How fast and responsive and how cheap it is! I seriously would get it but they toned down on the battery side of the story. You get two hours of medium use which is sad :( I mean it's Still better than my Galaxy S 3 but by like 5%. Plus I'm in College so I think the Note IV will suffice all my needs. It'll just be a pain to always have it in my pockets because it won't fit in my pants and I won't trust it in my shorts. But the features and multitasking that it can do amazes me o-o

In a quest to make the phone thinner and thinner, Apple has definitely compromised sturdiness of the phone. By going for a little thicker frame it would have made the phone better and no camera would have stuck out from back face. Now the reports of iPhone 6 and 6+ bending in jeans pocket and flawed iOS 8.01 updates, Apple has a handful on their hands.

I have the 4s, I played with the 6 at the apple store and my hand hurt within 5 min. I dont know if its just because Im not use to larger screens but it feels too big for my hand. I guess I wont be getting a new phone. I was planning on waiting til they have water proof and dre. beats incorporated into it anyways. But I do wish they will go down to 4.3 inch screen, Ive tried those and they feel much better.

To all you cheap o' android fans, iPhone is the best phone out there as of today (2014/2015), and will continue to remain one. Can't be compared with any other phones. Yeah, you guys might've already used the features Apple just introduced, "couple" years back but also have "had" experienced some shitty experience with your cheap plastic device. With Apple you don't just buy the device, you buy the reliability, and overall experience. I've been an android user for a really long time, ever since my first phone in September 2008 and I've never had such a terrible experience with it up until I switched to an iPhone.! Apple makes nice phones, but the old axiom--"it just works"--is no longer true. iOS 8 was plagued by technical issues and bugs, some of which haven't been resolved. What kinds of Android phones have you used? If you're comparing low-mid tier android phones against a premium device like the iPhone, then of course the iPhone will win. Not all android phones are cheap plastic. Have you seen the Nexus 6, the HTC One and the Moto X? Those are nice phones. iPhones are great, but they don't fit the needs of everybody out there and Apple has certainly lost a step in terms of innovation. Look at Android Lollipop and tell me that doesn't look like a beautifully modern OS.
