Me also. :D. This is PWM. Pulse Width Modulation. Only happens when the display is not on full brightness. After long time of watching it could stress your eyes. This is a big issue of some Monitors/Panels but on a Mobile it's usually not a problem.

Most of the phones he tests are sponsored by companies like dbrand. Also, this test was very unscientific because as some should know, if you scratch the surface of ultra strengthened glass, like he did an absurd amount of times, it weakens the hardness of the glass considerably because the tension in the glass has been released. If at Gs6 had been dropped brand new, it would probably just have scratched the frame.

Hey could you do 2 quick tests on the 6S+ for me? (every test without any other apps in the background) 1. Launch Instagram - scroll a bit then open Paper (from Facebook) use Paper for a little bit - maybe open a website in Safari from Paper and go back to Instagram - Did it have to reload or was it still running in the back and you could use it from the point where you switched to Paper. 2. Safari Test Open Safari and open about 9 tabs with different sites (verge, cnet for example). Go to Tab 9. Restart Safari (close it even from multitasking) - browse a little bit on the site. Open a new tab (Tab 10) - browse on Tab 10. Switch back to tab 9 after a while ... and did it reload? Really want to see, if the 2GB RAM makes a usefull difference. Thank you in advance

godgiven Old comment, but the phone has glass on its display. Glass is scratch resistant around a level 6. The displays getting scratches means the knife is at least a level 6 on the hardness scale. If it was a steel knife and super sharpened, it would NOT scratch the display because steel is not has hard as glass. Sharpness has nothing to do with it scratchability in this case. (excluding aluminium back) EDIT: Well it looks like the screens on these devices are not has hard as phone screens now sooooo.... nevermind.

Ok but simple earth sciences will tell you that the hardness of an item is determined by the facility with which different hardnesses can scratch it; that being said, it's quite obvious that a heavy-duty switch blade will be produced with more durable items than a smart-phone, and since the knife's composition is harder than the phone's, it's obvious they will be scratched. Determining whether they will resist scratches from ordinary household items (i.e. keys, coins, etc.) would've been much more demonstrative of their resistance and build quality than using a switch-blade.

I have an s5 drop it MANY times accidents amd not even hair lines in the screen ... screen still looks new part from TINY scratches that are very barely noticeable and I had a iphone 4s dropped it from 50ft and didn't smash hit concrete ....
