It works! Used a small brush, cotton makeup swabs and a professional brush cleaner (alcohol based) took roughly 10 minutes This problem was bugging me for over a year and now I can’t get used to the loud volume haha

LOL - I was about to get the phone serviced under AppleCare+, but tried this and it fixed my low call volume issue. I literally tried everything else including soft reset, hard reset, iOS re-install (backup & restore) - thank you for the fix!

There’s a known issue with iPhone 12 and 12 pro and apple is aware of it and they will change the speaker for free within 2 years
